A. Safety Instructions
1. General Instructions
Independently of the safety instructions given in these manual instructions, the local laws,
ordinances, guidelines and standards for operation of electrical equipment as well as for
labor, health and environmental protection apply.
The Five Safety Rules of Electrical Engineering must generally be observed during
operation of the products and components described in these operating instructions:
• Isolate
• Secure against reclosing
• Verify safe isolation from supply
• Earth and short-circuit
• Cover or barrier adjacent live parts
• Protective clothing
• Safety shoes
• Gloves
• Helmet and face protection
2. Qualified Personnel
Qualified personnel in accordance with these instructions are persons who are familiar
with maintenance and operation of the product and have appropriate qualifications for their
work. Furthermore, qualified personnel must have the following training and instruction or
authorization:
Training and instruction or authorization to switch on, switch off, earth and identify
power circuits and equipment / systems as per the relevant safety standards
Training and instruction regarding the applicable specifications for the prevention of
accidents and the care and use of appropriate safety equipment
Training in first aid and behavior in the event of possible accidents

Tulip Contact
Contact Arm
Remove Insert-Nut fixed on Contact Arm. Take a Screw M16 to push the insert-nut by
applying force using plastic hammer until insert-nut released from Contact Arm.
Purpose is to get access to Screw on inner side of Contact Arm.

Undo/loosen Hex. Screw using Shock no. 24 for dismantling all 6 pcs of Contact Arm.

Step 7.
Using Pin Removal Tool, take out pin wires which come from Cartridge on VCB Plug -X0.
Note: Take out only pin wires come from Cartridge as shown on schematic wiring below.

Dismantle interlocking part on Cartridge using Spanner no. 10-11 as shown in the
pictures.

Undo/loosen fixing screws (4 pcs) of VCB to Cartridge using Shock no. 17.

Remove the existing VCB and replace with new supplied VCB.

D. Cleaning
When replacement work is done, do cleaning the object from dust and any dirt possibly
produced during installation/rectification using vacuum cleaner and cleaning agent.
Final check shall be observed to make sure the replacement work has been carried out
properly in accordance with provided Instruction.
Mechanical and electrical function test shall be performed according to the functionality of
what has been carried out.
NOTICE
CAUTION
Function Test CLOSE and OPEN (ON/OFF) VCB must be done ONLY
with Withdrawable in Test Position (Rack-Out).
