 1st reading: Isaiah 25: 6-10a

 Gospel: Mt 22:1-14

PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL:

CELEBRANT: Loving Father, You have prepared a banquet for us inviting us to join you
despite our unworthiness. Being members of this banquet we bring our prayers and
petitions before you.
OUR RESPONSE: LOVING FATHER GRACIOUSLY HEAR OUR PRAYER.

1. We pray for our Pope, Bishops and Priests that by their example of living a life
worthy of their calling they may show us the way to accept God’s invitation to His
Kingdom, we pray…
2. We pray for all spiritual and secular leaders that they may experience true
conversion and take decisions for building peace and unity among all people, we
pray….
3. We pray for our youth and children that being nourished by the Eucharist, they may
not be discouraged by criticism or rejection but may always live their lives filled
with love, respect and care for all, we pray….
4. We pray for the leaders of Israel, Ghaza and all warring nations that the may give up
hatred and ego and instead be filled with love and compassion for their people, we
pray…
5. We now silently pray for our personal and local needs, (pause) we pray…
CELEBRANT: God our Father strengthen and help us as to live our calling with sharing,
kindness, respect and love. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord Amen.
