1. What are working conditions in restaurants like?

- The restaurant always requires its service staff to have a standard, polite, and civilized
manner. Many employees in the restaurant and food service industry are required to wear
uniforms when they are at work.
- Restaurant and food service workers are often required to work when others are on
holiday. Holidays and New Year’s Day are frequently the times that people want to go
out for dinner, and so restaurants may be especially busy during these times.
- Language skills: A restaurant is a working environment that serves a variety of diners
from home and abroad. So it would be really great if you could communicate in English
and other foreign languages with customers
- Time management: This job is often done in shifts, so you need to arrange your schedule
appropriately to avoid affecting the restaurant's work, studies, and daily life.
- Work management: Service staff need to do many different jobs, so managing them well
will ensure quality and adequate work completion time.
2. What is the job you would like to do most? Explain?
I would like to be an receptionist most because I enjoy interacting with people and
engaging in customer service. Also, I can improve my organizational skills and
communication skills. Becoming a receptionist opens up many different opportunities
thanks to the people you meet and make new relationships. Flexible working hours, I can
easily change shifts with colleagues when I am busy, this help me improve time
management skill. Sometimes, I feel happy when receiving tips from guests.
3. What have you gained after the training session at the hotel? What else do you expect to
experience there?
- I experienced how to spread bed sheets for clean rooms and fold sheets, I learned about
the types of glasses used in restaurants, each type is suitable for different types of drinks.
I expect to experience the reception position, I want to try to check-in and check-out for
guests.
4. Online reservation procedure for restaurants
1. Go to the website of the restaurant to make an online reservation.
2. Look for the "Reservation" or "Book a Table" option on the website's homepage.
3. Choose the date and time you want to dine in the restaurant from the available options.
4. Enter the number of people in your party.

table, enter them in the "Comments" field.
6. Fill in your personal information, such as your name, phone number, and email
address.
7. Double-check all the details on the reservation form to ensure it is accurate before
clicking "Submit".
8. Wait for a confirmation email or phone call from the restaurant to confirm your
reservation.
9. Make notes of the reservation, such as the time, date, and any special requests.
10. Show up at the restaurant on the day of your reservation at the scheduled time and
enjoy your meal.
5. Advantages and disadvantages of online table reservation systems
Advantages:
1. Convenience: Customers can easily and quicklyble payment through an online reservation
system.
2. Increased Efficiency: Online reservations allow restaurants to manage their tables more
efficiently, allowing for greater capacity and reduced wait times.

Disadvantages:
1. Technical issues: Technical problems such as system downtime, glitches, and bugs can occur,
causing inconvenience.

information onlineonline, leading to incorrect booking information.
3. Online reservation systems may require additional fees that restaurants must pay to use the
service.
