Rizal, A National Hero

-What did I learn?

-What did I Immitate?

We learnt that Dr. Jose P. Rizal is well-known as a doctor, a hero, and for other deeds that are still
recognized today. In his youth, Jose Rizal was a child genius, a controversial author and scholar in his
travels throughout Europe, and a national martyr in his death. Throughout these three stages of his life,
he worked tirelessly to aid his people while also promoting Filipino nationalism.

We, the youth, are the fatherland's hope, according to Dr. Jose P. Rizal, who is well known in the youth
sector. In my opinion, the youth are given attention and initiatives that are intended to help them
develop their potential are prioritized.

As a result, Dr. Jose Rizal serves as a good role model for me as a young person. His two well-known
books, "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo," which detail the good deeds he has accomplished,
show that having a poor family background need not prevent one from achieving success as long as they
are motivated to pursue their goals. The youth largely follow Dr. Jose Rizal's example as successful role
models who may encourage anyone with the potential to succeed.

-What can I contribute to the transformation of the Philippines

I may take advantage of my opportunity as a citizen of the nation to contribute to the transition by
learning about it at school, via daily interactions, and on social media.

In actuality, the current state of the political, economic, and social aspects of our lives. Our acquired
ideas and practices can chronicle and participate in societal issues that affect people's wellbeing, making
us valuable members of society. However, when our welfare is impacted, these theories and practices
may occasionally become liabilities as well.

CRITIC PAPER

*Socio-political Economy
-A people’s government made for people, by the people, answerable for the people

* The title encompasses the total situation of society being governed. The situation may or may not
affect the welfare of the people in their day to day interaction.

The type of government would depend on the policies, programs, and services that the government
would offer, as well as the budget that would be derived from taxes and the resources that were
available both inside and outside of the current government.

What did i immitate?

Let our parents know how much we love and respect them first. Despite the numerous sacrifices and
hardships they must endure, parents only want the best for their children. Children must express their
gratitude by treating adults with love and respect in return. True parents are frequently observed giving
advice through protracted sermons, but this is only to demonstrate how they genuinely care about their
children's futures. Second, set your sights high, dream big, and take action. The freedom of his fellow
countrymen was Rizal's greatest aspiration, and he devoted much effort to making it a reality. He
reacted by accepting whatever the consequences were, even though he was aware that doing so would
endanger his own life.

Then, never give up. An instance in Rizal's life that exemplifies this is the second attempt at his mother's
cataract surgery, which was a success. We can conclude that the first attempt was a failure because the
second was the successful one. Another is his tale of the monkey and the tortoise. Third, be proud of
who you are and never forget to reflect on your past. The tortoise won the race despite having slow feet
because he never gives up. Even though Rizal is fluent in nearly 22 languages, he never loses sight of his
Filipino heritage. He demonstrates this in his infamous adage. (Ay higit pa ang amoy sa malansang isda,
ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika)

Fourth, do not hesitate to defend what is right. Make a stand if you are confident that you are right. Put
your feet firmly on the ground, as Rizal did. He persisted in spite of threats from Spanish officials,
eventually publishing their sins in his novels. I took away from his life the fact that he did not cower in
fear before the formidable spaniards, but rather let himself be seen and spoke out on the problem that
he and his nation were facing. Fifth, I realized the value of education as a springboard to success for
both my personal and national goals. Because there is enough information to learn and explore. This
served as my own personal motivation to ensure that education would reach all four corners of the
globe and not just the four walls of the classroom. Sixth, Talend and Skills both have room for
improvement. We are all aware that Rizal is a gifted individual with a wide range of abilities. He was
well-known for a number of things. Rizal is a novelist, eye doctor, architect, teacher, artist/painter,
sculptor, historian, economist, journalist, businessman, traveler, propagandist, musician, naturalist,
sportsman, etc., among other professions. Rizal also has flaws and shortcomings. I found out that he
abandoned the church's and the friars' teaching in favor of joining a group known as masonry, which
contradicts the teaching of the friars.

CRITIC PAPER
A SOCIO-POLITICAL ECONOMY

The Philippines has been one of the most dynamic economies in the East Asia and Pacific region. With
increasing urbanization, a growing middle class, and a large and young population, the Philippines’
economic dynamism is rooted in strong consumer demand supported by a vibrant labor market and
robust remittances. The private sector remains buoyant, with positive performance from the services
sector including business process outsourcing, wholesale and retail trade, real estate, and tourism.
Poverty rate declined from 23.5 percent in 2015 to 18.1 percent in 2021 despite the shocks endured
through the COVID-19 pandemic and other global headwinds such as high global commodity prices and
tight global financial conditions. The Philippine government pursues larger investments in both human
and physical capital to boost growth over the medium and long term.

The Philippines has been growing in recent years accelerating from 5.6 percent in 2021 to 7.6 percent in
2022. With continued recovery and reform efforts, the country is getting back on track on its way from a
lower middle-income country with a gross national income per capita of US$3,640 in 2021 to an upper
middle-income country (per capita income range of US$4,256-US$13,205) in the short term.
