What we are is God’s gift to us, what we become is our gift to God.

This compelling word of

Eleanor Powell has been made true today as we gratify and appreciate the goodness of the
Lord in this joyful celebration and in this faith-filled commitment and service to God through
our WASH programs in different schools here in Iligan City.

And today, God gives as another good reason to celebrate in friendship, companionship
and camaraderie as we recognize our partnership, acknowledge contributions, leverage on
best practices, and recognize successes for WASH progresses and advancement in our
learning institutions.

To our District Supervisors, Schools Principals, Master Teachers, Head Teachers, our
unsung heroes – our Teachers, to our Samaritan’s Purse Philippines Mindanao leadership –
Ms. Jhai Amancio (Area Coordinator) and Mr. Vicente Delector, Jr. (our technical adviser for
WASH and Shelter), our diligent and assiduous WASH Team headed by Engr. Queen
Harley Musico (program manager), and with her team Engr. Ariel Carino (infra development
specialist), Mr. Kenson Lovell Villagracia (WaSH program officer), Mr. Byran Piang
(Hygiene Promoter), as supported by their pilots Mr. Zaldy Manos and Mr. Lao _____, to
our program teams present here – Livelihoods, Primary Health Care, Nutrition, and Base
Support Team, to all of us here.. GOODMORNING and Welcome to our Stakeholders’
Close-Out Assembly!

To start with, I would like to request everyone to stand as we welcome the

presence of our living God, Jesus Christ, through Praises and Singing. I now
welcome our SP Praise and Worship Team to open us up in worship.

WOW! What an amazing experience it is to really worship God in spirit and in

truth. Thank you praise and worship team for ushering us to God’s presence.
And now, let us open our hearts and ears to hear the Word of the Lord to be
brought to us by Pastor Francis Imel Alquizar.
And now, we formally welcome you the formal Close out Ceremony! 2022 has been an
interesting year. We are now starting to exit a what seems to be the most challenging virtual
learning in times of pandemic. Remember 2019 when all were required to wear mask, stay
at home, and teachers have to quickly develop modules and learning manuals for learners
at home. Grabe, and now, it’s 2022 and we have slowly return to learning normalcy and
witness our cutie patooties learners be back at their chairs. And with the opening of classes
this 2022, we are also met with a lot of challenges, especially on the influx of the demand
for handwashing and sanitation facilities, and large demand for water and improved hygiene
behaviors.

And that is what we are going to celebrate today. We will be looking back on the tests and
challenges we have faced this year, and celebrate the breakthroughs we have experienced!
You know, we cannot spell TESTIMONY with TEST.
