“ADDENDUM: SEMINAR-WORKSHOP IN MAPEH FOR “COACHING AND

OFFICIATING ON DIFFERENT EVENTS AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL”

1. In reference to section 23 of Rule V of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of

Republic Act (RA) No. 10588 otherwise known as the Palarong Pambansa Act of 2013 the
District IV of Silang will conduct a 3-day Seminar-Workshop in MAPEH for Coaching and
Officiating Different Events at the Elementary Level, as stated in Rule VI Section 27 of the
aforementioned IRR, on October 7, 14, and 21, 2023 at Bulihan Sites and Services Project
Elementary School for Day 1 and at Silang Central School for Days 2 and 3.

2. The seminar workshop will focus on strengthening and upgrading the coaching and
officiating competencies of the MAPEH teachers, coaches, and officiating officials of
District IV in the Municipality of Silang, Cavite. Specifically, it aims to:
a. train coaches and officials in the different sports disciplines;
b. discuss and implement the updated rules and strategies in coaching and
officiating;
c. prepare coaches and officials for the conduct of their District Meet,
Municipal Meet, Unit Meet, Provincial Meet, Regional Meet, and
Palarong Pambansa; and
d. foster camaraderie among coaches and officials.

3. All participants will report in the designated playing venue, for their practicum on the 2 nd
Saturday dated October 14, 2023.

events you have registered for.
