Environmental Policy

This Environmental Policy is intended to guide the management and operational activities at
our premises and sites and to ensure that environmental performance of the company’s
activities, products and services are aligned with local and internationally accepted
standards and practices. To this end, the management of Pro X Projects is committed to
apply the following principles and directives in all decision-making, planning and
management activities.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY AND COMMITMENT

Pro X Projects recognises that it has a responsibility not only to its shareholders but also
to all stakeholders including the natural environment in which it exists and transacts. Pro
X Projects management further acknowledges its constitutional duty to protect and
respect the environmental resources under its control as well as every individual’s
environmental rights. Management is committed to ensuring that the company complies
with all relevant local conditions, requirements and environmental legislation relevant
to the company’s activities.

 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

To manage its environmental aspects, Pro X Projects undertakes to establish, entrench

and continually improve an Environmental Management System.

 STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT

The environmental management processes of Pro X Projects will, through consultation

with interested and affected parties, take cognisance of the interests, needs and values
of all stakeholders in any related decision-making. Pro X Projects will also make details
of its Environmental Management System available to the public.

 INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

Operational management policies, programmes, practices and activities shall all be

integrated with each other, and environmental management activities of Pro X Projects
will take full account of these linkages. Pro X Projects also undertakes to ensure
implementation of this policy by contractors acting on behalf of the company and to
encourage the wider adoption of this policy by all suppliers.

 ACCOUNTABILITY

Pro X Projects management shall be accountable for ensuring the formulation and
implementation of procedures and standards in an effort to ensure the effectiveness of
this policy and its contents.

 PLANNING AND IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Pro X Projects will ensure that environmental impact assessments of its activities, as well
as lifecycle assessments of its products, are carried out in order to anticipate all
reasonable aspects and associated impacts. Wherever reasonably practicable, the
company endeavors to take reasonable measures to mitigate any negative impacts on
the natural environment.

 CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

All environmental initiatives will be based on sustainable development. Pro X Projects is

committed to continuous improvement of policies, programmes and environmental
performance. Environmental performance will be measured by conducting regular
environmental audits and assessments. Pro X Projects is committed to waste reduction,
recycling and pollution prevention.

 TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Pro X Projects undertakes to educate and train its staff on the company’s environmental
management policy and system and make all employees environmentally aware.

 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

Pro X Projects undertakes to ensure that adequate emergency procedures, plans and
services exist for all significant hazards associated with its activities. This would be done
in conjunction with the emergency services, relevant authorities and the local
community.
