The City School extends a warm welcome to all our students and their families. We look forward to a fulfilling year of
learning with fun. We, at The City School, believe that children benefit the most when there is a positive communication
channel between the parents and the school. Therefore, to that end, we keep you informed of your child’s learning journey
throughout the year. Every month, you will receive a ‘Topic Letter’ highlighting the topic/skills/concepts that your child
will be learning at school. We look forward to developing a strong parent-school partnership and cultivating your child’s
learning potential throughout the year.
Kindly receive the Topic Letter for the month of October and November 2023. This would help you keep a follow-up of the
scheme of studies implemented in school.

informal letter, flash fiction story, poetry writing.
Grammar: Dialogue and direct writing, language features in newspaper article, affirmative negative and
