The Faculty of Engineering of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is pleased to
announce the completion of all the elements with reference to We are pleased to share with
you news of the inaugural issue of itsthe journal titled “Journal of Advances in Engineering and
Technology” issued by the Faculty of Engineering, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology
(SLIIT). This inaugural issue is comprised of carefully selected papers submitted to will be issued
subsequent to the our 1st SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET
2022) being organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Sri Lanka Institute of Information
Technology (SLIIT). The above is one of the key activities in the strategic plan of the Institute
envisioning knowledge dissemination and experience sharing.

The journal is will be a peer reviewed journal in Engineering and Technology, and will contain
two (02) volumes per year, starting from October 2022. Two volumes will be published in
March and August of each year thereafter. The journal endeavors towould offer a valuable
opportunity for researchers engaged in the areas of Engineering, Technology and Applied
Sciences spanning across tTheoreticaly, aApplications and eEducational aspects to showcase
their current and cutting-edge research to a wider research community.
