Digiglaze is the machine with digital technology for

glazing ceramic supports designed and patented by
Tecno Italia, the company operating since 1994,
today known as Tecno Italia Digital.
PRECISION
GLAZING.
Digiglaze is the highly innovative machine with digital
technology for glazing that allows for maximum control
of the discharge capacity and the laying process. In
addition, the size and frequency of the drop are
programmable from the control panel, for optimal
glazing on any type of support.

Digiglaze can be used on all traditional glazes, and

optimizes yield with the addition of a variable
percentage of additive, from 1% to 6% depending on
the type of engobe used, to make them more
workable.

It’s also used for the application of protective glazes

to be polished (free from grit inside), lapped or left
natural.
ADVANTAGES COMPARED TO
ANALOGICAL SOLUTIONS.
The advantage of an innovative technology like
Digiglaze is evident under various aspects. First of
all, the possibility of saving up to 35% in glaze per
year, besides the lower environmental impact deriving
from the elimination of the spraying process and the
absence of a suction machine.

It’s been developed, therefore, as sustainable

technology, besides having lower purification
costs compared to similar solutions. With Digiglaze,
the quality of the laying is of the highest level:
the surfaces are smoother; obstructions and
sedimentations during production are reduced to a
minimum. As a result, cleaning times are reduced
from the classic 40/45 minutes per day to 15/20
minutes.

Finally, thanks to the added percentage of additive, it’s

possible to use any type of glaze already found in
the company, without having to purchase a specific one.
EFFICIENCY INCLUDED.
The basic configuration includes tubs for storing the
products used (glazes, engobes, smaltobbio, glues
and protectors) and a viscometer to monitor the
product applied, so as to ensure a particularly
efficient production.
