I am Arun Kumar Merum. I have 15+ years of experience in Java/J2EE

technologies. I had worked with many technology giants to develop
software systems using Spring-boot and Hibernate. I have solid working
experience with java, kotlin, scala, AWS, ruby, Unix shell scripting,
Oracle, MongoDB, ELK stack.

So far, I have played the below roles:

1. Developing micro services and ensuring that they interface
efficiently with other microservices.
2. Implemented distributed design patterns like CQRS, Saga, event
streaming.
3. Containerising the services (using Docker) and orchestrating
microservices (using Kubernetes)
4. Profiling the applications to find the bottlenecks, clear the
bottlenecks and then to performance tune the same.
5. Interacting with the AWS services and finding the best solution for
the requirements at hand.
6. Regular maintenance of the applications.

I am a quick and independent learner with a lot of patience. I generally

learn new technologies by reading books and by practicing them and then
later by working on projects on the technologies I had learnt.
