@ DATA ORBITAL To: Blake Masters From: George Khalaf, Pollster Regarding: Arizona CD8 Republican Primary Survey Date: October 24th 2023 Overview ‘A mixed-mode survey of Republican Primary voters in Arizona's Eighth Congressional District found that President Donald J. Trump commands a dominant favorabilty position (+54.7%) with voters in the district, and that Blake Masters would enter the race with a commanding lead. Despite enduring more than $50 million in negative ads in 2022, Masters nearly doubles his nearest opponent, has strong favorability rating, and is seen as the most conservative candidate in the race. Blake Masters is positioned fo be the next Congressman from Arizona's Eighth should he decide to run. Name ID and Favorabili Blake Masters starts out with near ubiquitous name ID (92.7%) and considerably higher net favorabilty (+26%) than any other candidate polled. Blake's advantage becomes even clearer when factoring in the low number of voters who ore undecided (2.2%) or unfamiliar with Blake (7.3%). He is known and he is popular. His closest opponent, Abe Hamedeh—despite having run statewide and remained in the news over the last year—has a real name ID problem. A full third of GOP primary voters have never heard of him; more than half have no opinion of him. Given that the district sits entirely in the Phoenix media market, Hamadeh would have a steep and expensive hill o climb simply to match where Masters is today Ballot Test Masters stars out wth a double-digit lead in a mulicandidate race with 33.2% of the vote. Hamadeh comes in a distant second at 18.4%. The final two candidates combine for 12.3%. Blake maintains a double-digit lead even in a head-to-head matchup with Hamadeh, where Blake holds a 39.4% to 27.2% lead.
