GUIDE QUESTIONS:
1.What struck while you listening to my lectures?
2.What have you realized after listening? Feelings? Affirmed, bothered, disturbed,
consoled, challenged? Why? What are your aspirations?
While listening in the first lesson that our professor discussed I’ve got a new knowledge
about the difference of ethics in morality and I become also knowledgeable on why us
students must learn the importance of ethics, and its different types of ethics such as
Descriptive Ethics, Normative Ethics, Meta Ethics and lastly is Applied Ethics.
We also learn some new words that we are not familiar with like “over familiarity breeds
contempt” which means “if you know a person or situation very well, you can easily lose
respect for that person or become careless in that situation.”
We also get a chance to know what is our 3 priorities in life and mostly of us answered
the family dreams selfcare money or success that we forget the most important person
in our lives and the reason why we’re here and the reason why we live and that was
God.
After the discussion I’ve realized that ethics is an interesting subject it contains
important lesson such as choosing right choices making a good thing rather than doing
bad thing managing the behavior which for us student teacher it can be helpful to
understand ethics and morality for us to become a good person and if we applied those
ethics it can be a way for us to become more affective teacher in the future.
He also acknowledges us that studying is a must priority rather than relationship
because it can be a distraction and he added that if the person was truly loves you,
he/she waits you till you become a better and happier version of yourself.
I feel happy that I’ve learn knowledge in a joyful way our professor always make us
laugh while teaching he also makes sure that all are participating when he ask for a
question it was a fun and easier way to learn at the same time.
And lastly, he gives us a note that “ethics care matter” which is a definition of we should
take care for others as we should take care of ourselves and knowing the emotions
feelings and relationship with others.
