CHAPTER 26:01
Division into 2. The Island of Trinidad shall be divided into eight Counties,

which shall bear the names and shall comprise the areas and be
situated within the boundaries following:
(I) THE COUNTY OF ST. GEORGE comprising the Islands
of the Bocas, the Islands of Gaspar Grande, Gasparillo, Carrera
and Cronstadt and the Five Islands and all such parts of Trinidad
as are bounded—
On the East by a line commencing from the sea at a
point North of the north-eastern corner of land originally
granted to Bascilia Coa and running South along the eastern
boundary of the said land and the eastern boundaries of
lands originally granted to Luciene Casadilla, Edward John
and Basilia Romero and thence continuing South until it
reaches the crest of the ridge forming the eastern watershed
of the Madamas River, thence along the eastern and
southern watersheds of the Madamas River to Aripo
Trigonometrical Station No. 86, thence along the western
watershed of the Cuare River to that spur on which Palmar
Trigonometrical Station No. 87 is situated and along the
above-mentioned spur to the Aripo River and by the Aripo
River to its junction with the Cumuto River, thence along
the Cumuto River to the point where it touches the Arena
Reserve, thence by the northern, eastern and southern
boundaries of this Reserve to the north-western corner of
the parcel of land granted to Jackie Simon, thence by the
western boundaries of lands granted to Jackie Simon and
Laran to the south-western corner of Laran’s lands, thence
in a straight line to boundary pillar No. 6 of the Tumpuna
Reserve and by the eastern boundary of this Reserve to the

County of
St. Andrew. 7. THE COUNTY OF ST. ANDREW shall be divided into
five Wards, which shall bear the names, comprise the areas and be
situated within the boundaries following:
(1) Valencia Ward comprising all such parts of the County
of St. Andrew as are bounded—
On the North by the northern boundary of the County of
St. Andrew from the point where the Madamas Eastern
Watershed meets the Northern Main Ridge to Zeno
Trigonometrical Station No. 57;
On the East by the watershed between the Oropouche
and Matura Rivers from Zeno Trigonometrical Station
No. 57 to the northern boundary of the Matura Reserve
(proclaimed as Portion 2B of the Northern Range Reserve)
thence by the northern and western boundaries of that
reserve to the Melajo River, thence by the Melajo River
to the Toco Main Road;
On the South by the Toco Main Road from the last
mentioned point to its junction with the Valencia Road,
thence by the Valencia Road to its junction with the Eastern
Main Road and thence by the Eastern Main Road to the
point where it crosses the Aripo River;
On the West by the western boundary of the County of
St. Andrew from the last mentioned point to the County of
St. David.
(2) Matura Ward comprising such parts of the County of
St. Andrew as are bounded—
On the North by the northern boundary of the County of
St. Andrew from Zeno Trigonometrical Station No. 57 to
the Sea;
On the East by the Sea;
On the South by the Oropouche River from its mouth to
its junction with the Melajo River, and thence by the Melajo
River to the Toco Main Road;
On the West by the eastern boundary of Valencia Ward.

12. The President may by Order divide any Ward into divisions Division of
