CONTRACT FOR PART TIME STAFF – SOP 15

Policy Overview

This policy outlines the contracting of part time staff.

Principles

 Part Time staff means the contracting of employee with an employment


contract which stipulates a starting date and ending date. It is also refer as
temporary contract.

 Part Time Employee hiring is based purely on business requirements for


work of temporary, emergent or seasonal nature and is to be strictly
monitored in order to maximize productivity

Process

 The employment of temporary staff must be approved by the business unit


internal employee requisition form. Such form must be approved by the
Head of Department, the Hotel Head of Human Resources, the Head of
Finance, and the General Manager.
