ORD-2023-012

DESIGNATION OF A SCHOOL PUBLIC ASSISTANCE COORDINATOR (SPAC)

To: Schools Division Superintendents

1. To fast-track facilitation of all concerns from all the feedback mechanisms

(8888 CCH, PCC, DepEd Facebook Page, official email address of the region and
public affairs assistance center, etc.) that usually involve schools, all schools are
hereby tasked to designate their respective school public assistance coordinators
(SPAC).

2. The SPAC shall be tasked to:

a. Monitor all concerns received or referred by DPACs and assist in their
resolution
b. Facilitate the collection of data for the Citizen/Client Satisfaction
Survey (CCSS) report
c. Attend meetings, workshops, and other related activities and cascade
the information to their respective schools.
d. Prepare reports and related communications
e. Coordinate with the DPACs and RPACs, provide feedback if necessary
f. Perform other tasks related to DepEd PAS-PAAC programs, projects
and activities

3. All SDOs shall gather and submit the names of school public assistance
coordinators with contact details through: bit.ly/PAS-PAAC-Public Assistance on or
before May 15, 2023.

4. To reiterate, the focal team of the Division Offices shall be composed of the
following:

a) Designated Division Public Assistance Coordinator (DPAC)

b) Designated School Public Assistance Coordinator (SPAC)
c) Division Legal Officers
d) Schools Division Superintendents

5. Likewise, all schools are encouraged to create Citizen/Client Satisfaction

Feedback mechanism to ensure that education-related issues and concerns of the
general public (learners, parents, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and other
relevant interested parties) are attended to and facilitated effectively and efficiently.
