Formal email/letter: Tour

Dear Sir/Madam,

The reason why I am writing this letter to you is to express my dissatisfaction with the tour
your company offers.

Firstly, I consider that the tour we have contracted last 25 th June to visit “La Alhambra” did not
fulfil the conditions agreed. I would like to point out that the scheduled time to pick up us from
the hotel was established when we bought the tickets. However, the driver arrived one hour
later, desperately running behind schedule. Besides the fact he was delayed, he did not
apologise his lack of respect and did not justify the reasons for it. Consequently, due to the late
arrival, we had less time to spend at the historic site we visited before returning to our hotel.
In fact, we bought the tickets for your tour because our intention was to spend there as much
time as possible in order to have enough time to discover it. That was not what you sold us, so
we are unsatisfied with the service we received from you company.

Finally, I would like to state that when someone purchases a tour, they presume that they
have a good experience visiting it, and in my opinion, it is unacceptable that you do not
guarantee a good quality excursion for all the tours you offer. Considering the above, I request
you a partial refund to indemnify our unsatisfactory tour.

I trust that you will seriously consider my case and the solution I suggest you.
