Construction Calling Script:: Handling Objections
Caller: Hi, this is [Your Name] from Prime Builders. How's your day going?
Prospect: [Response]
Caller: Great! The reason I'm calling is because we saw you applied for a kitchen or bathroom remodel
or other home improvement project.
Caller: Awesome! Can you share a bit more about your project?
Caller: Do you have any more projects you are looking to do?
Caller: That sounds like a nice project and we can definitely help you with that. (If it’s a big project like
kitchen or more -that’s actually a specialty of ours)
Caller: What’s your schedule like this week so we can come over for a free estimate?
[set appointment]
Handling objections:
Caller: No worries. Yeah, we got your application about a home improvement project. I’m here to talk
about your project and see how we can help.
Caller: Got it. That’s strange, Was there maybe another construction project you applied for that you
were thinking of doing ? Landscape, painting, pavers, room addition, fencing, flooring?
Caller: We get applications from Google, Angie, Home Advisor, Networx, and Yelp.
Caller: Our main office is in San Jose and we have a local team in ….
How much would doing this project (like my kitchen or bathroom) cost?
Caller: I'm mainly the scheduler, but our project manager can give you all the details.
Caller: Actually, we have pretty reasonable prices and we have great options for financing.
We are general contractors and do everything from kitchens, bathrooms, hardscape, ADU’s, room
additions, paint, fencing and windows. We are licensed to build up to a 3-floor house.
Caller: No problem, actually our estimates are good for 6 months, and they're free- do you think you can
give us a chance? We are actually going to be in the area on…
Caller: Prices for material are actually going up so it’s a good time to get work done
Caller: Thanks for your time. We're excited to chat about your project and see what we can do. Looking
forward to meeting you on … Have a great [day/afternoon]!
