French Royalty
Wealthy Aristocratic
women planned events.

Revolution
With increased
manufacturing, and
business growth, holding
events and meeings
became important.

Transportation
Transportation made it
reasonable to travel to
and from events. This
also allowed for food and
goods to be transported
for events.

Telephone

Utilizing telephones made
communication for events
much faster. Now, instead
of waiting weeks or months
for a message to be
received, it could be done in
the same day.

The internet has
provided us the ability to
host virtual events. This
sped up the RSVP
process, as well as having
a place to keep
memorabilia.

Promoting events on social

trend. People are influenced
