ASKARI -I KARACHI

Dainage Plan
NOTES:

1. Read this drawing in conjunction with all other relavant drawings.


2. All dimensions are in feet and inches.
3. See typical drawings for culvert,drain .
4. Trenchback fill of new utilitiesand storm drainagefacilitiesshall be
compacted proctor)underroadwaysand
to 95%maxdensity(modified
sidewalks and 90% max density (modified proctor) off roadways.
5. Drainagechambersare providedat the intervalof every100 feet and
according to the plan.
6. The contractor
shallbe responsible
for adjustingall inletandcatchbasin
frames and grates just prior to paving. during overlay projects,all
manholes,valves and monuments shall be adjusted after paving.
7. facilities, control structures,storm
Storm water retention/detention
shall be jettedand cleanedprior to
drainagepipesand catchbasins
acceptance.
8. If thereis anyambiguity
in thefinishedroadlevels, differson sitethanon
profiles given then let this office know before proceeding.
9. At culvertsthe clear sectionof drain comingfrom behind will be
maintained
10. The connecting chambers will be constructed at the lowest points
keeping in view the cross sectional slope/ lowest points.
11. All culvertswill be having2'x2' openingin the slabs keepingin the
cross-slope of the road.
12. Drainmustbe providedtowardsloweredgeof carriageway
keepingin
view cross slope of road.
13. Wherecross-slope
is on oneside anddrainis on theotherside,thengully

with pipe.
