Betreft: Informatie over inschrijving en betaling collegegeld 2013-2014

Beste student,

Je bent toegelaten tot een opleiding van de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (AHK).
Met deze brief informeren we je over de voorwaarden waar je aan moet voldoen om tijdig als
student ingeschreven te staan. Uitgebreide informatie over alle stappen vind je op onze
speciale website voor nieuwe studenten: www.ahk.nl/eerstejaars.

1. Je maakt een account aan op Studielink (www.studielink.nl). Hiervoor heb je een DigiD-
account nodig.
2. Vanuit Studielink schrijf je je in voor de opleiding aan de AHK die je gaat volgen.
3. Je ontvangt op het e-mailadres dat je hebt gebruikt voor je auditie een
gepersonaliseerd betalingsformulier van de AHK. Hierop staan de verschillende
betalingsmogelijkheden uitgelegd.
4. Regel de betaling van je collegegeld vóór 15 juli door het ondertekende formulier terug
te sturen naar de AHK en je collegegeld te betalen.
5. Na ontvangst van het collegegeld wordt een MyAHK-account voor je aangemaakt. Dit
geeft je toegang tot je persoonlijke mailbox, het intranet van de AHK en diverse online
applicaties. De inloggegevens ontvang je op het e-mailadres dat gekoppeld is aan je
Studielink-account. Vanaf dit moment verloopt alle communicatie via je nieuwe AHK-e-
mailadres.
6. Op dit AHK-e-mailadres ontvang je bericht over het aanleveren van een digitale pasfoto
voor je collegekaart.
7. Je haalt je collegekaart op bij de receptie van jouw faculteit of bij Bureau Inschrijving.
De collegekaart is een multifunctionele chippas die je toegang geeft tot de gebouwen
en die je nodig hebt om te kunnen printen, kopiëren en betalen in de kantines. Tevens
geldt de studentenkaart als toegangsbewijs tot het openingsfeest in de Melkweg
waarmee de AHK de opening van het nieuwe studiejaar viert.
Na ontvangst van de kaart is je inschrijving als student aan de AHK voltooid.

Om je inschrijving niet onnodig vertraging te laten oplopen is het van belang dat je je zo snel
mogelijk inschrijft voor je opleiding via Studielink. Wacht hier niet mee tot je de uitslag van je
eindexamens hebt!

About: Information about enrolment and payment of tuition fees 2013-2014

Dear student,

Congratulations on your acceptance to one of the programmes offered by the Amsterdam

School of the Arts (AHK). In this letter we set out the conditions you are required to meet for
prompt enrolment as a student. For more detailed information about each of the steps, please
go to our special website for new students: www.ahk.nl/firstyears.

1. First, go to www.ahk.nl/visa to see whether you need a visa to study in the Netherlands,
and what you must do to obtain one. You always have to apply for a visa through the
AHK.
2. Create a Studielink account on www.studielink.nl. Studielink is a national online
enrolment application used by all Dutch institutions for higher education.
3. Enrol for the AHK course you are going to follow in your Studielink account.
4. Next, you will receive a personalised payment form from the AHK, which will be sent to
the email address you have registered yourself for the Auditions. You have to choose
option B of this form.
5. Make arrangements for the payment of your tuition fees before 15 July by returning the
signed form to the AHK and paying the fees.
6. Once payment of your tuition fees has been received, a MyAHK account will be created
for you. This gives you access to your personal mailbox, the AHK intranet and various
online applications. Your log-in details will be sent to the email address linked to your
Studielink account. From this point on, all email messages will be sent to your new AHK
email address.
7. An email notifying you about providing a digital passport photo for your student card will
be sent to your AHK mail address.
8. You can collect your student card at your faculty’s reception desk or at the Enrolment
Office (Bureau Inschrijving). Your student card is a multi-functional chip card that
provides access to the school buildings. You will also need it to print and copy
documents, and to pay for refreshments in the canteens. Furthermore, the student card
gives you entrance to the AHK’s opening party at the Melkweg that celebrates the start
of the new academic year.
Once you have received your student card, your enrolment as a student at the AHK is
complete.

In order not to unnecessarily delay your enrolment, it is important that you register via Studielink
as soon as possible. Don’t wait until you have received your exam results!
