You are aware that government has established Village/Ward

secretariats to deliver welfare schemes, benefts and services at doorstep of
citizens. You are also aware that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has
taken up Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam Program (GGMP) right
earnest and the program is going thoroughly all over the state.
This ofce has received representations from Welfare & Education

Assistants vide ref 1st cited that they are loaded with heavy work of welfare
schemes of more than ten departments, non-teaching activities like
inspection of Mid Day Meals, survey of drop out children, bringing Out of
School Children back to school etc. besides attending to grievance redressal
and Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabutvam program and thus their regular
work is getting hampered as they are drafted for Booth Level Ofcer (BLO)
duty and hence requested to exempt them from BLO duty.

The Director, Social Welfare Department also requested vide ref 2 nd

cited, not to entrust any work other than the regular work to ensure efcient
and effective outcome from the WEAs.
The District Collectors are therefore requested to exempt Welfare &
 File No.GWS02-COOR/144/2022-ADC(HRT)

Education Assistants from the duties of Booth Level Ofcer (BLO) with
immediate effect.
