food-insecure city’s food system.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct a series of semi-structured interviews and summarize
the key findings in a comprehensive report.

May 2023 – July 2023
● One of 10 cohort members selected to work on a competitive interdisciplinary National Science
Foundation-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) studying the socioecological
role of greenways in urban systems.
● Used ArcGIS Pro and Online to map the relationship between demographics, access to
transportation, and equitable access to urban greenspaces.
● Used ArcGIS StoryMaps to share the findings with stakeholders effectively and saw 1,500+
views within the first month of publishing.

Programs Intern, Communities Revolutionizing Open Public Spaces May 2022 – August 2022
● Maintained 2 urban gardens and harvested 10 pounds of produce weekly.
● Built connections with dozens of community members through garden volunteer days and
weekly accessible farmers’ markets.
● Rescued 100 pounds of produce weekly from a local farm and distributed it to 30+ residents
living in a low-income housing development.
