TABLE OF CONTENT
1.2 A line for login or registration will appears at the top. Click “Registration”.
1.3 Accept the user agreement and fill out the registration form.
Important! When creating a login and password, you can use only letters of the English alphabet,
numbers, as well as - (dash) and _ (underscore).
1.4 10 minutes after registration (possibly earlier), a letter with instructions for the next step will be sent to the
specified e-mail. If the confirmation email has not arrived during this time, then it may have ended up in the spam
folder. Check the contents of this folder. Otherwise, try registering again using a different e-mail address or contact
the site administrator.
2. If there is already a valid account on the Delta River website, then use the login line.
3. After logging in on the website deltariver.pro , perform step by step: go to the "Download" section → click the
"Read More" button next to the description of the current version → right-click on the "Download" button and select
"Save object as...".
4. 4. Unzip the downloaded archive. To do this, right-click on the archive and select "Extract to ...".
5.2.2 Copy the path to the directory in the window that opens.
Important! If the directory path contains characters from a language other than Latin, use a keyboard with the
layout of that language when copying to avoid problems with displaying characters.
6. After installation, add two executable files to the exceptions of antivirus and Windows Defender:
<DeltaRiver installation path>\deltariver.exe;
<DeltaRiver installation path>\Connectors\internal.exe.
Important! Add these two executable files to the exceptions of antivirus and Windows Defender every time after
updating or reinstalling DeltaRiver!
7. Run the antivirus.
The terminal is ready to work.
2. In the options, go to the "Expert Advisors" tab and check the checkboxes "Allow algorithmic trading" and "Allow DLL
imports".
2.2 In the window that appears, go to the MQL5 folder (or MQL4 if the MT4 terminal is installed)/Experts.
2.3 For convenience, create a Delta River folder in the Experts folder.
2.6 After that, the created folder with the RiverClient advisor will appear in the "Expert Advisors" tab.
The above steps 2.1-2.6 are performed once.
3. In the MetaTrader terminal, in the "Market Watch" window, select the pair you need (in our example, EURUSD).
Right-click on it and select "Chart Window".
4. By dragging or double-clicking the left mouse button (LMB), attach the RiverClient advisor to the chart window.
Note. It is preferable to connect the advisor manually (by double-clicking the LMB or dragging it onto the chart),
because loading the template (with an adviser) is not always successful.
5. In the window that appears, in the "Common" tab, check the checkbox - "Allow Algo Trading".
6. In the "Inputs" tab, configure the following parameters according to your broker:
Real Volume – use of real volumes in the DR (if the broker provides) futures, stocks, etc.
TypeFillingForOrder - broker's order execution mode (in 99% of cases, it is not necessary to touch – just leave
ORDER_FILLING_FOK).
7. Click "ОК".
8. After adding the connectr, check that the "Algo Trading" button is pressed.
If everything is done correctly, then in the upper right corner the inscription will appear
10. After authorization, the Delta River terminal is ready to work. At the first launch, without connected tickers (trading
instruments: currency pairs, crypto, indices, etc.), it is a compact panel at the top of the screen.
11. To connect the standard Fx:EUR/USD ticker, select "List of Tickers" in the Menu.
11.1 The "List of Tickers" window appears (a window for selecting trading instruments).
Note. For convenience and speed up navigation, the tickers in the list are sorted by groups: Forex, Futures, Crypto
(Spot), Crypto (Futures), also to speed up the search for tickers, you can use hash tags: #forex, #crypto, etc.
Or in the search bar, write "eur usd" in Latin letters and select the appropriate ticker from the list, then click "Add".
11.3 Then, a ticker tab appears on the main panel next to the Menu. When the connection occurs, the connection
indicator will turn green (a gray circle next to the ticker name).
Note. Any ticker always opens in a new window separately from the main Delta River panel and from the windows of
other tickers. The operation of the program in this format is associated with stability, optimized for speed and use of
PC resources.
11.4 In the "List of Tickers" window, in the "Opens" tab, the value [1] will appear, showing the number of open
tickers. To see the ticker information and to perform basic settings, go to "Opens" tab and select the desired ticker.
For more information about the possibilities of basic ticker settings, see Section II.
12. Then, if the ticker is in the "MT" or "Server+MT" mode, in the MetaTrader, in the window with the chart of the
EUR/USD currency pair the inscription will appear:
Connecting a custom character using the US SPX 500 Index CFD as an example.
1. In MetaTrader, in the "Market Watch" tab select the .US500Cash index, right-click on it and select the "Chart
Window".
2. By dragging or double-clicking the LMB, attach the RiverClient Expert Advisor to the chart window.
Note. It is preferable to connect the advisor manually (by double-clicking the LMB or dragging it onto the chart),
because loading the template (with an adviser) is not always successful.
3. In the window that appears, in the "Common" tab, check the checkbox - "Allow Algo Trading".
6. If everything is done correctly, then in the upper right corner the inscription will appear
9. In the "List of Tickers" window, click "Create your symbol ...", in the "Add new symbol" window, enter the name of
the ticker exactly as it is written in the screenshot in step 5 (in our case, US500CASH) and click "OK".
the correct ticker name can be seen in the MT5 terminal in the upper right corner of the chart
9.1 In the "List of Tickers" window, in the "List" tab, will appear a new line "User tikers". Click the LMB on "+" to open
the "User tikers" list and double-click the LMB on the added US500CASH index to open a window with it's chart.
9.2 Then, the index tab appears on the main panel next to the Menu. When the connection occurs, the connection
indicator will turn green (a gray circle next to the ticker name).
Note. Any ticker always opens in a new window separately from the main Delta River panel and from the windows of
other tickers. The operation of the program in this format is associated with stability, optimized for speed and use of PC
resources.
In the window with the chart of the US500CASH index the inscription will appear:
1.1. "Profile" — information about the Delta River account, connecting the Intrade account.bar, Telegram, Finance,
FIX, By Beat, Kraken, Bitfinex (so far only an Intrade account is available, the rest are under development).
1.2. "List of Tickers" — allows to add, customize and remove stickers in DeltaRiver.
3) Display numbers in a cluster (divider) — divides the values in clusters by a set value, for instruments with
high market activity.
To change the divider, set the required value on the scale and press "set".
In the example below for the DOGE/USDTp cryptocurrency pair, timeframe H1, shows the change in the display
of numeric values in clusters when the divisor changes:
6) Traiding time — changes the trading time settings for the ticker.
To open the trading time settings window, hover the mouse
cursor over the area highlighted by the rectangle and double-
click the LMB.
In the window that appears, we can flexibly adjust the trading time.
To do this, chek the checkboxes of appropriate time periods and days of the week, be sure to check the box
next to "User time (active)" and click "Apply".
The example below, for the CME:GC gold futures, timeframe H1, shows the difference between the default and
custom trading time settings:
The Hotkey Center allows you to configure the widest possible set of keys and key combinations to quickly perform
the most popular actions or call frequently used functions in DeltaRiver. For quick navigation and search in the
hotkey center, all possible actions and functions are sorted by the corresponding tabs.
To assign a hotkey or key combination to a function of interest, press the LMB on the "+" to the left of the tab name,
select the desired function from the list and assign it a hotkey or key combination by pressing the corresponding keys
on the keyboard.
To remove the hotkey or key combination for a function of interest, press the LMB on the "+" to the left of the tab
name, select the desired function from the list and press "Esc" on the keyboard.
1.4. "Journal of Screenshot" — opens the log of screenshots of charts created by the program.

1. MultiView Mode.
MultiView mode allows you to select and simultaneously see three different timeframes of the same ticker.
MultiView
Display by default
2. Timeframe selection.
Click the LMB on the "Period" tab and see a drop-down menu with options for choosing TF.
3. Multiplier setting.
The multiplier setup menu allows you to select the required coefficient for displaying clusters in DeltaRiver. The
multiplier factor varies from 0.1 to x1000.
To open the multiplier settings window, click on the "Multiplier" button. To set the multiplier:
− drag the slider;
− use the +/- buttons in the multiplier menu;
− use the left/right arrows on the keyboard;
− use the mouse wheel.
After settng the multiplier, press the "Apply" button or the "Enter" key.
Note. You can switch the multiplier using hot keys.
Default keyboard shortcuts:
+ / - (on the optional keyboard) – increases/decreases the multiplier.
A cluster is a "collection" of all trades in the range of 10 pips, for example, a cluster at the price level of 1.2362 includes
all trades that passed in the range of 1.23620–1.23629, and a "Multiplier" increases this range, so with a multiplier of
x2, the cluster will consist of 20 pips (range 1.23620-1.23639), or reduces this range with a multiplier value of x0.1-x0.9.
So with a multiplier of x0.5, the cluster will consist of 5 pips, with a multiplier of x0.7 – of 7 pips, etc.
4. Mode of clusters.
This menu allows to select the desired clusters display mode in DeltaRiver.
1 2 3 4 5 6
6. "News" block.
The "News" button allows to enable the display of the "News" block in
the ticker window.
To enable/disable the "News" block, you need to check the box next to
the button.
To set up the news block, click on the arrow on the right. The drop-down
menu contains settings:
1) displays all the news for the day or by symbol;
2) displays news by importance (number of stars);
3) hides past news;
4) enables notification on filtered news;
5) highlights the news closest to the current moment at a given time
interval.
7. "Auto-scroll" button.
The "Auto-scroll" button allows you to enable/disable automatic scrolling of the chart as the price moves.
To safely navigate through the history of the chart, for example, when performing analysis, uncheck the "Auto-scroll",
otherwise the chart will constantly move to the last bar.
There is also an additional palette for "custom" colors that will be displayed in the context menu items
("Set User level", "Set User level from" and "Set User zone from").
Set the color, press the "OK" button, then press the RMB on the price scale.
To delete a level, press the RMB again on the price scale at the marked level, or put a crosshair on it and press the
"space bar".
SECTION II. THE PROGRAM INTERFACE. 33
THE TICKERS TOOLBAR
To quickly set a custom level on any part of the chart, press the LMB at the desired point on the chart, set the crosshair
and press the "space bar".
To remove the level, put a crosshair on it anywhere and press the "space bar", or press the RMB on the price scale.
Initially, when creating a level, its name is the timeframe on which this level was placed.
To change the name, double-click on it, and in the window that appears, enter a new name for the level, then click
"OK".
You can also clear the selected period of history by clicking the "Erase" button. The selection of a period of history is
made the same as when loading.
In DeltaRiver the tick history can be loaded with pre-cleaning in DeltaRiver, for this we check the box "with erasing"
(on the left above the "Download" button).
There are also seven preset buttons for the start date period in the upper part of the window (5). After selecting the
required period, click on the "Upload" button. You can also download the tick history by downloading the quotes file
(via the Import button), having previously created it in MT5:
To delete an object, select it in the list of objects (3), and then click "Delete object".
You can also delete an object using the Del button; if you want to completely clear the list of objects, press Ctrl+Del.
By double-clicking the LMB, or by pressing Enter on an object in the list, you can change the object's name.
To change the size of the created graphic object, select it in the list (3). Hover the mouse cursor over the lower right
corner of the frame, pinch the LMB and change the size of the object.
Below are illustrative examples of graphic objects where the required angle of the frame is marked with a white cross:
To quickly move to a previously created graphic object, use the Ctrl+LMB keyboard shortcut on the object from the list
(3).

The mode disables the display of cluster volumes except for clusters filtered by a custom filter (see "Custom Volum
Filter" indicator), leaving the selected chart mode (candlestick, bars, linear).
Attention! So that after disabling the "Clusterless Mode", clusters appear again, just scale the chart.
15. "Link Charts" button.
To link the charts of several tickers, click the "Link Charts" button.
The charts of related tickers are set to the same scale, multiplier, timeframe, sets and movements on the chart are
synchronized.
To open the trading panel, click the LMB on the gray stripe with a small arrow in the middle from the
right edge of the window. This whole strip is a tab.
By clicking on the strip again, close the trading panel.
− "SPOP LOSS".
Enables/disables placing a stop-loss order with the set parameters when
opening a trade via the DeltaRiver trading panel.
− "put on the broker's server".
Enable/disable this function. It is necessary in order not to show the location
of the Stop-loss order to your broker, so as not to become a victim of spread
expansion or manipulation.
− "TAKE-PROFIT".
Enable/disable automatic placement of Take Profit orders with the set
parameters when opening a trade via the DeltaRiver trading panel.
− "put on the broker's server".
Enable/disable this function. It is necessary in order not to show the location
of the Take profit order to your broker, so as not to become a victim of
spread expansion or manipulation.
− "Safe".
This is a system of partial profit fixing. For example, "TP/2 – 50%" with an order volume of 1.0 means that "on the way"
to Take profit, a partial fixation of 0.50 will occur exactly in the middle, and the rest of 0.50 will close on the Take profit
order itself.
Press the RMB on the open order to open the menu for changing parameters.
On the chart, on the price scale, by pressing and dragging the LMB, can change the
levels of Stop Loss and Take Profit.
If the Stop Loss and Take Profit levels are not set, then they can be set by clicking and
dragging the LMB on the order price:
− up for a BUY order – Take profit;
− down for a BUY order – Stop loss;
− up for a SELL order – Stop loss;
− down for a SELL order – Take profit.
On the price scale, click the RMB mouse on the price of:
− order – closes the order;
− Stop loss – removes a stop loss order;
− Take profit – removes a stop loss order.
Chart background − the color for the background. When selecting the "Gradient" checkmark - from top to bottom from light
to dark.
Cursor color – the color for the cursor. If black (#000) is selected, the automatic color mode is applied.
Cluster frame – the color of the cluster frame. If black (#000) is selected, the automatic color mode is applied.
Color of digital values in the cluster – the color of the digits. If black (#000) is selected, the automatic
color mode is applied.
Color of volumes with a percentage scale of 25%-100% for purchases and sales (black color #000 — transparent).
Average calculation of the maximum – the averaging of the maximum volume, from which the "Color of volums with a
scale of 25%-100%" and "Graphic display of the amount of volume" are calculated. If the setting is disabled, then a cluster
with the maximum volume is allocated in the visible area, if enabled, 5 maximum values are allocated and the average of
them is taken as the maximum.
SECTION IV. "OPTIONS" WINDOW. 44
MAIN
Background (predominance of buy/sell) – enable/disable, as well as the choice of color to display the predominance of
purchases/sales.
Bar body/shadow –enable/disable the display, as well as the selection of colors and sizes for parts of the bar (black color
#000 is transparent).
Candle by clusters – the display of candles is a multiple of clusters (the setting is not active).
Negative delta value – enable/disable negative Delta displays in "Volume Delta" mode.
Arrow Assistant – enable/disable the assistant marking the character of the candle.
– pushing; – slightly pushing; – slowing down; – braking.
At the same time, always keep in mind that the arrows are displayed on candles that are formed, so this does not mean
100% that the next candle will go in this direction, but the probability of this increases.
Candle Timer – selection of the display location: on the current bar (on the time scale) or under the Bid price.
Grid contrast (hour and round levels) – displaying hourly and round price levels on the chart.
"Time (grid)" and "Price (grid)" allow to enable/disable the grid at hourly and round price levels by ticking/removing
the checkmarks by clicking the LMB.
Ticker contrast on the chart — displaying the ticker name and the current timeframe in the background of the chart.
Additional text — displaying the user's text in the background of the chart below the ticker name.
Local time display — switching the timeline of the ticker chart from UTC +0 to the user's local time.
Work with all ticks – enables/disables processing of all ticks to display the "Big trades" indicator in real time. To work
with the "Big trades" indicator on the history, you must first download it with the "with all tick" checkbox enabled
(see Section II).
Number of candles to draw (cache) – displays the depth of cluster rendering at the current approximation of the chart
(the number of candlesticks drawn on the chart).
But by slightly increasing the scale, thereby expanding the visible section of the chart, the following is visible: the
previous maximum has ceased to be the maximum of the visible section, and, accordingly, the scale is already painted
over not to the full width of the cluster.
"Averaged calculation of the maximum" averages the value of the maximum volume, from which the "Color of volums with
a scale of 25%-100%" and "Graphic display of the amount of volume" are calculated, therefore, 5 maximum values are
selected in the visible area and the average of them is taken as the maximum.
In DeltaRiver, the color display in the cluster for the "Color of volums" and "Background cluster" settings is due to the
predominance of Purchases or Sales.
For example, if the "Volume Full" mode is selected and 45 Purchases and 44 Sales are traded in the cluster,
this will be displayed as 89, and the color will be selected as for Purchases, because Purchases prevail (in this
case, a shade of green).
Indicators.
The "Indicators" tab displays a list of indicators on the left. Each indicator can be enabled/disabled by putting/removing
a check mark to the left of its name.
To see the parameters and settings of the indicator, click on it LMB. They are displayed in the right half of the tab.
If the "MultiView" mode is used, note that the upper block of indicators will be used for the current chart, and in the
case of the "Custom Volume Filter" indicator - for the current timeframe.
Enables/disables highlighting of the cluster containing the maximum volume in the bar (the cluster with the maximum
volume is highlighted by a frame). Does not contain parameters.
1) Color design:
Volume Buy/Volume Sell — in the "Full volume with predominance" mode, the vertical volume histogram is colored in
the appropriate color;
in the "Divide Buy/Sell" mode — the color of purchases and sales;
in the "Delta" mode, the delta histograms are colored with the appropriate color.
Equal — in the "Full volume with predominance" mode, it colors the histograms of the vertical volume in which the
Volume Buy = Volume Sell in the appropriate color.
Full volume (back) — in the "Divide Buy/Sell" and "Delta" modes colors the histograms of the total volume in the
background in the appropriate color.
Delta's Shadow — in the "Delta" mode +the check mark on "Show Delta shadow" colors the delta shadow in the
appropriate color.
Color of digital values — sets the custom color of the digital values of the vertical volume.
2) Vertical volums mode:
Volum Full – the histogram reflects the full volume with a predominance of Purchases or Sales.
Volum of buy/sell – the histogram shows the strength of both buyers (up) and sellers (down) (the full volume is
displayed on the background).
Delta – the histogram shows the difference between buyers and sellers (the full volume is displayed on the
background).
Normal Mode/Separate full volume – displaying the distribution of the total volume in the vertical volume
histogram is proportional to the location in the shadows and the body.
3) Divergence.
Divergence (percentage) – the difference between the predominance of volume
and "direction" in one candle.
The parameter sets the percentage of volume predominance.
It is used to filter single-bar Divergence, so when the candle is bearish (the price
goes down), and the vertical volumes of the candle show the predominance of
purchases and vice versa.
Divergence on several candles — finds and displays on the chart the Delta
Divergence on 2 or more candles.
"Concider when searching for divergence the delta "across zero"" — it is used to
amplify the Divergence signal on several candles.
The parameter specifies the number of candlesticks to search for Delta divergence in
them.
1) Color design:
Volum buy/Volm sell — in the "Divide Sell/Buy", "upSELL/dwnBUY" modes colors the histograms of horizontal
volumes of purchases and sales in the appropriate colors;
in the "Delta" mode — shows the character of the horizontal Delta in the appropriate color.
Full volum (back) — colors the histograms of the horizontal volume in the appropriate color.
Full volum (back W1) — colors the histograms of the weekly horizontal volume in the appropriate color.
Full volum (back D1) — colors the histograms of the daily horizontal volume in the appropriate color.
Color of digital values — sets the custom color of the numeric values of the horizontal volume.
2) Horizontal volume modes:
Full volum – the histogram shows only the full volume.
Divide Sell/Buy – the histogram shows the strength of both buyers (to the right) and sellers (to the left) (the full
volume is displayed in the background).
Delta – the histogram Shows the difference between buyers and sellers (the full volume is displayed on the
background).
upSELL/dnBUY – a mode in which volumes of past transactions above the current price are shown for sale. Volumes
of past buy transactions are shown below the current price (full volum is displayed on the background).
2) To create a new filter, set all the parameters and click the "Add" button — it will immediately appear in the top list.
To edit an existing one, click the LMB on the filter in the list, change its parameters and click the "Update" button.
To delete — click on the appropriate filter in the list and click the "Delete" button.
2. 2. ">=" (greater than or equal to) or "<=" (less than or equal to) is compared
with the specified value.
4. Then the type of bar in which this cluster is located is compared, or the first
option – there is no condition.
5. 5. And the last condition is a comparison of the time of the bar in which this cluster is located. The parameters
specify the time interval for the condition. In this case, the value indicates a period of time equal to a full hour.
That is, for the value 0, the condition being checked is from
0.00 to 0.59, and similarly for all the others. Accordingly,
for the range 0-23, the time interval is 0.00 – 23.59.
If all conditions are met, the cluster is colored in the specified color.
Local Range.
Based on the volumes, an approximate current horizontal price corridor is calculated, according to the type of local
levels. Does not contain parameters.
Time stamps.
The "Time stamps" indicator makes it possible to flexibly configure filtering and display of custom timestamps and time
zones on the chart using a large number of conditions.
1) DeltaRiver has 3 pre-configured time zones corresponding to global trading sessions: Asia, Europe, America.
To create your own stamp or zone, set filters, color, name, click "Add", and it will immediately appear in the list.
To instantly add time zones corresponding to the work of world trading
sessions and exchanges, select the one you need in the "Trading
sessions" tab, click on it and it immediately appears in the list.
To edit an existing stamp or zone, select it from the list, change the filters we are interested in and click "Update".
To delete a stamp or zone, select it from the list and click "Delete".
To remove all labels from the list at once, click "Clear".
2) 4 conditions can be configured for each timestamp:
1. The "Week in month" is selected.
2. 2. If "Any" is selected in the "Week in month" condition, then the next condition is
the "Day in the month".
Example of filtering Non farm payrolls in the DeltaRiver "Timestamp" indicator taking into account the local time zone
(the example shows Non farm payrolls from 03.06.22, local time zone UTC +3):
Example of filtering the last week of any month (in the example, the last week of June 2022, local time zone UTC +3):
Important! To filter this condition correctly, the start time must be set from 00:00 (UTC +0).
To highlight the Local Profile, hover the mouse cursor over it:
− bright levels on the histogram show the maximum volumes of purchases and sales (local Point of Control), as well
as the levels of VAH and VAL with lines to the end of the chart;
− the upper border of the Local Profile frame is a histogram that shows the ratio and balance of the Purchase/Sales
of this plot;
− the general color of the Local Profile frame shows the predominance of Purchases or Sales;
− at the bottom, under the Local Profile, there is a Cumulative Delta block that displays the change in the cumulative
delta over time in the selected area, as well as an information block on the left, where:
С – the number of candles of this timeframe;
D – The delta of this section (Delta=Buying and Selling);
V – the total volume of this plot.
In the lower right corner there is a button – close profile and next to it a button – switch of the histogram display
mode (Volumes/Delta).
When you click the LMB on the Local Profile, Custom levels automatically appear on the chart, which match the
maximum total volume (local Point of Control), VAH and VAL of the current profile, and which are assigned the
appropriate names.
A rubber Local profile is a profile mode in which, with the appearance of a new bar, it is added to the selected area
and, accordingly, the profile and cumulative delta are recalculated.
A dynamic Local profile is a profile mode in which, with the appearance of a new bar, the profile "moves" and,
accordingly, the profile and cumulative delta are recalculated.
When the Scroll-Lock button is enabled, you can pull a Free Local Profile – without binding to the High/Low
candlesticks on the selected area.
To make the installed profiles always active, check the box to the left of "Always active" by clicking the LMB.
Zoner.
The Zone indicator can be used both for marking Fibonacci levels and custom levels.
It works both in auto mode and can be manually "stretched" on an random section of the chart. In the upper part of the
block there are settings for automatic mode.
In order for the correction levels to be built against the trend direction, check the box to the left of "Build not in the
direction of the trend".
Choose the price characteristics of the bar, relative to which the correction levels will be built:
Hi/Lo — the maximum price of the first bar is taken as the starting point for the construction, and the minimum
price of the last bar at the selected time interval is taken as the final point;
Body – if the Opn price of the first bar is taken as the starting point, then the price below the Opn price is taken as
the end point, and if the Cls price of the first bar is taken, then the price above the Cls is taken as the end
point;
Cls/Cls — the closing price of the first and closing price of the last bars at the selected time interval are taken as the
starting and ending points for the construction;
Opn/Cls — the opening price of the first bar is taken as the starting point, and the closing price of the last one at the
selected time interval is taken as the final point.
There are buttons under the settings:
The list contains all previously created levels. Each line in the list is a level. The following parameters are displayed in
each line:
1. The color of the level.
2. Number in order.
3. The percentage of the level.
4. The thickness of the level line in pixels.
5. Zone coloring parameter. If it is "-", then the parameter is not active for this level, if it is "X", the parameter is
active.
6. The name of the level (if the name is not specified, it will be empty).
To create a new level, set all the parameters and click the "Add" button, it will immediately appear in the top list.
To edit an existing level, select a level in the list, change the parameters and click the "Update" button.
To delete a level, select the appropriate level in the list and click the "Delete" button.
Management.
To manually "pull" the Zoner, do the following:
− select the required period on the chart;
− press Ctrl+LMB on the initial bar of the selected period;
− "stretch" to the end of the selected period and release the buttons;
− to reset the Zoner, hold down Ctrl and press the LMB on a random section of the chart.
ZigZag.
The ZigZag indicator connects the extremes on the chart with a line, thus filtering out minor price fluctuations. The
significance of the extremes is regulated by the parameter "Minimum Wave Size (pips)" — the minimum price distance
between the High and Low prices of one wave.
At the extremes, ZigZag displays the Height (the price distance between High and Low prices), Full Volume, Delta,
"Effort" in a particular wave and highlights divergent waves (when with a rising price the delta of the wave is negative
and vice versa).
Moving Averages.
To create a new moving average, set all the parameters and click the "Add" button, the moving average will immediately
appear in the top list.
To edit an existing one, select it from the list, change the parameters and click the "Update" button.
To delete, select the moving average in the list and click the "Delete" button.
Bollinger Bands.
In addition to the standard parameters for Bollinger Bands (Close, Open, etc.), there are three more that are
calculated based on volumes:
«VWAP» — weighted average price by volume (full);
«VWAP» (buy) — weighted average price by volume of purchases;
«VWAP» (sell) — weighted average price by sales volume.
The "Deviation" parameter can have a fractional part.
The "Transparency" parameter sets the degree of transparency of the indicator display on the chart.
Automatically builds volume levels (POC levels) for the selected time period.
1. "РОС period selection" – setting the period and color of the auto-levels display, where "period M5" is the display for
the last 5 minutes, "period M10" is for the last 10 minutes, etc.
2. "Dynamic РОС" – setting up auto-level display options:
− if disabled, only the POC level of the current period is displayed;
− if enabled (there is a check mark), then the auto-level of the current period and the
levels of previous periods are displayed at the specified display depth.
3. "Only dРОС" – disables the display of the POC of the current period, leaving only the auto-levels of previous
periods (with the "Dynamic POC" setting enabled).
4. "disable vertical tie lines" – displaying POC auto-levels as horizontal lines without vertical briges.
1 2 3 4
Using the number of hours, adjust the display depth of the POC auto-levels on the history.
Big trades.
In order for the Big trades indicator to work correctly, you need to check the checkbox of the "work with all ticks" (see
Section IV) and download the history of "with all ticks" (see Section II) for the required period.
The Big trades indicator helps to filter and display big trades on the chart according to the specified values.
To make it easier to analyze and set the volume value, there is an information block at the bottom of the parameters
with graphs of the distribution of transaction volumes for Purchases and Sales.
To fill in the charts, click the "Get info" button.
The values in the lines are set manually or by clicking the LMB on the corresponding distribution graph.
"Volume aggregation" is used to summarize and display (scaling) more than one large filtered transaction in a cluster.
For example, if this parameter is set, then if there are two or more large transactions in this cluster, the indicator circle
above the cluster will be enlarged (scaled according to the total volume of all large transactions).
Note. For example, the number 20 is set in the settings "Excess of any volume". Three trades for 10, 20 and 30 lots have
passed. Without aggregation, it will show two circles: for trades with 20 and 30 lots (for a trade with 30 lots, the circle
will be slightly larger), and with aggregation it will show one circle for 50.
"Transparency" - sets the degree of transparency of the indicator display on the chart.
DOM.
The DOM (Depth of Market) indicator or "Stock Glass" is a table of limit orders for the purchase and sale of securities,
contracts on the futures, commodity or stock market. The DOM in DeltaRiver allows to evaluate the supply and demand
in the market at a given time.
1) Color design:
Ask/Bid color (main) — the color of filling the histograms of Ask and Bid limit orders;
Ask/Bid color (digits) — the color of the digital values in the stock glass;
Ask/Bid color (less than 50%) — the color of the histogram display at price levels where the volume of limit
orders is less than 50% of the average in the table of orders;
Ask/Bid color (inactive) — the color of the histogram display at price levels where the volume of limit orders has
not been updated more than the value of the "Inactive transition perios";
The Ask/Bid color (momentum burst) — the color of displaying histograms at price levels with increased
interest.
2) "Levels with an growing result" — coloring of the market depth zones.
"Digital values" — displays the digital values of the sum of all limit orders at the price level, (numbers to the
right of the histograms).
"changes" — displays the digital values of the change in the number of added or decreased limit orders at the
price level (the numbers to the left of the histograms).
3) "Delay change" — the period when the volume change in the glass is not updated.
4) "Inactive transition period" — the time period after which the price level becomes inactive if the volume of limit
orders on it has not changed.
5) "Inactive removal period" — the time period after which the inactive price level is deleted.
6) "Visual refresh period" — refreshing the entire glass regardless of the presence or absence of volume changes.
7) "Depth (% of current price)" — displaying the depth of the glass in the range from 1% to 100% of the current
price;
8) List of filters and filtering conditions.
To create a new filter, set the filtering condition. The volumes in the stock glass can be filtered according to four
conditions:
– total volum;
– increment volume;
– withdrawal volume;
– volume of a single order.
After setting the condition, set the numerical value of the volume, select the side (Bid or Ask), color and click "Add".
To edit an existing one, select the required filter in the list, change its parameters and click "Update".
To delete — select the filter in the list and click "Delete".
CCI.
CCI – (Commodity Channel Index) is a technical indicator based on the analysis of the current change in the price
deviation from its average value for a certain period and the average absolute value of this parameter.
In this window, configure the color display of the CCI indicator, and select the parameter by which it will be calculated.
Instructions for adding the indicator to the ticker chart can be found in the "Basement" indicators section.
RSI.
RSI – (Relative Strength Index) — is a technical analysis indicator that determines the strength of a trend and the
probability of its change.
In this window, configure the color display of the RSI indicator, and select the parameter by which it will be calculated.
Instructions for adding the indicator to the ticker chart can be found in the "Basement" indicators section.
Stochastic.
Stochastic oscillator — is a technical analysis indicator that shows the position of the current price relative to the price
range for a certain period in the past. Measured as a percentage.
In this window, configure the color display of the Stochastic indicator, and select the parameter by which it will be
calculated.
Instructions for adding the indicator to the ticker chart can be found in the "Basement" indicators section.
ATR.
ATR (Average true range) is an indicator of market volatility. It was introduced by Wells Wilder in the book "New
Concepts of Technical Trading Systems" and since then the indicator has been used as a component of many other
indicators and trading systems.
In this window, configure the color display of the ATR indicator and select the period for calculation.
Instructions for adding the indicator to the ticker chart can be found in the "Basement" indicators section.
Cumulative Delta.
Cumulative Delta — this is a cumulative delta for a certain period of time. If the common Delta shows the difference
between market purchases and sales for each candle/bar, then the cumulative Delta shows the full dynamics of the
balance of market purchases and sales starting from a certain point in time (from the beginning of the trading session
or contract).
DeltaRiver uses a daily cumulative delta (from the beginning of the day to UTC +0).
In this window, configure the color display of the Cumulative Delta indicator, and set the value of neutrality (balance).
Instructions for adding the indicator to the ticker chart can be found in the "Basement" indicators section.
All settings of the Options window can be saved/loaded to/from a specific file.
To save settings of the template, click the "Save Template" button, in the window that appears, specify the name of the
file for the template or select an existing one (the settings will be overwritten).
After that, in a new window, you can specify the Authorship and your link (Telegram, VK, FB, etc.).
The template file with the specified name (with the extension *.tpl) is saved in the templates folder.
To download settings from a template, the template file must be located in the templates folder.
Click the "Load Template" button, and in the window that appears, the templates that are located in the templates
folder are displayed in the list.
After selecting the required template in the list, in the lower half, check the boxes for each type of settings, if they are
saved in the template.
These checkboxes can be enabled or disabled. When loading the template, only the settings that are checked with a
checkbox will be applied.
Note. If there is a check mark next to "Custom Volume Filter", then the settings for this indicator will be loaded for all
timeframes that are present in the template.

NOTIFICATIONS
Auto-profile.
In DeltaRiver, it is possible to enable the calculation of auto-profiles with ranges multiples of and above the current
timeframe. For example:
Timeframe М1 Timeframe М5 Timeframe М15 Timeframe H1
Here is an example of how auto-profiles with the H1 period look on the M15 timeframe.
To remove auto-profiles from the chart, open the context menu by pressing the RMB and select "Clear Local Profiles".
You can read more about the profile parameters in the section "Local profile".
Scaling.
To reset the scale (to bring it to the default values), click the LMB in the lower right corner of the chart.
The size of the digits in the clusters is selected automatically, but if the cluster size is not enough to display (in height or
length), then the digits are not displayed – for this you need to scale the size using the above methods.
2. In the window that appears, enter the date and time to which you want to go.
3. Click the "Go" button, wait (the further the specified date is from the current moment on the chart, the longer the
transition takes).
At the same time, it should be remembered that DeltaRiver has a UTC +0 time zone and, taking this into account,
prescribe the date and time in the transition window.
"Basement" indicators.
A number of indicators (RSI, CCI, Stochastic, ATR and Cumulative Delta) have been added to DeltaRiver. Instructions for
setting up the display, setting up the period of these indicators can be found in the Indicators section.
To enable the display of "basement" indicators:
1. Click the "Indicators" button. This button is located under the horizontal profile in the lower left corner.
At the same time, the following information is displayed under the indicator:
"Ruler".
In DeltaRiver, there is a ruler tool that allows to measure on a selected plot of the chart:
1) number of candles/bars (time);
2) the amount of movement in pips;
3) 3) V − traded volume;
4) D − the total Delta
5) P − profit with the current settings in the trading panel,
if an order was opened.
To enable/disable the ruler, press the "caps lock" key or the mouse wheel.
Below is an example of using a ruler on a chart.
