    This document summarizes the results of an iron analysis using atomic absorption spectroscopy. Blank readings were taken and used to correct sample signals. Standards ranging from 0.4 to 1.6 mg/L iron were used to generate a calibration curve with good correlation. Samples labeled chuan 1 through 4 were then analyzed and found to contain 0.408 to 1.651 mg/L iron based on the calibration. A sample labeled nhom 1 was also tested but found to have an iron concentration higher than the highest 1.6 mg/L standard. In summary, blank and standard readings were used to calibrate the instrument and several samples were then analyzed for iron concentration.
