Right, it was good to get back on track on Saturday against Bampton Town. The first game, we started a little slow but did create chances and if it wasnt for a few good saves from their goalkeeper we could have easily been 2 or 3 up within ten minutes, but we stuck with it and our first goal was our first headed goal. A great in swinging corner from William was met with a fantastic header from Ronan. As we pushed forward in the second half and forced an own goal from Bampton before Ronan made a great run and slotted the ball coolly past their keeper. Then a stunning finish from a tight angle from Alfie concluded a great 4-0 win.
Because we only had seven players we shuffled the positions for the second game and two goals from William followed by two from Ronan and a fifth from Alfie concluded a 5-0 win
We will be playing an away game at Bourton Rovers next week and yes it is Bourton-on-theWater, we will be a couple of players down so it is really important that if you cant make the game that you let me know as soon as possible.
Going by our results so far our stats would be: 1st Game Pld
