Subject: Complaint Regarding Damaged insulation copper Pipe

Date: 14/09/2023

Dear Mr. Nabeel;

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue that has arisen on the project
site. Despite our repeated requests to ensure that other contractors do not touch
our pipes, the electrical contractor's workers have tightened their electrical cable
with my copper pipe, causing damage to the insulation and bending of the pipe.
Most of these pipes are hidden in the wall or false ceiling.

I am concerned about the future problems that may arise due to this damage.
The bent pipes will not allow refrigerant to flow between the indoor unit and
outdoor unit, which will reduce the cooling and heating capacity. Additionally,
due to damaged insulation, water vapor will condense and create water, which
will flow out of the wall and damage it. The plaster on the wall may also fall
with the indoor unit because of this. Furthermore, since electrical workers
tightened their cable with my copper pipe using galvanized wire, corrosion will
appear on both inside and outside of the pipe due to chemical reaction between
copper and galvanized wire. This corrosion will diffuse inside the pipe and
make its diameter smaller day by day, which will reduce the efficiency of air
conditioning. The copper pipe may also have holes and refrigerant may leak in
future. Since these pipes are hidden in walls or false ceilings, if there is a
problem in air conditioning in future, no one will know from where or why it
happened.

I request that you take necessary actions to rectify this issue as soon as possible.
I would also like to clarify that I am not responsible for any problems that may
arise due to this damage caused by electrical contractor's workers.

Sincerely,

İlyas Burak ODABAŞ Ali Alyoussefi
