COURSE INFORMATION
Course Code OACT 40013 Course Title Business Office Systems and Technologies Course Credit 3 units
Course Description
This course is designed to develop the necessary skills of DOMT-MOM students to become a highly effective administrative professionals
performing administrative support for medical practitioners and hospitals in business office and technological environments. It includes
instructions on the current trends in business and technology, promoting students’ advancement of skills to adhere in today's intensive and
highly automated business offices.

Please refer to the FLTA policies, except for the stipulation on Assignments: All assignments are due at the beginning of class on the date due. Late submission of assignments will be assessed

As the instructional material is received by the student, please read the module chapter according to the week assigned. The

Missed Classes: The student is responsible for obtaining material distributed on class days when he/she was absent. This can be
done through contacting a classmate who was present or by contacting the instructor during his office hours or other times.
Missed or late quizzes cannot be made up under any circumstances but with good cause and adequate notice, an early quiz may
be given.
Quizzes: Announced Quizzes will be given for both online and modular students.
Academic Dishonesty: Any evidence of copying or cheating during any examinations may result in a failing grade from the
examination for all parties involved. Note that other university guidelines shall be used in dealing with this matter.
Modular Approach. The modular approach is provided for those students with limited capacity and/or no capacity to connect to
the internet for the completion of this course during the Pandemic Covid -19. Further instruction provided by the University shall
be communicated if necessity arises. The flexi learning, using the internet platforms will be scheduled until University guidelines
are settled.
