Statement of Purpose

Hello, please let me introduce myself. My name is Alain Raymond Elroy, usually
people call me Alain. I’m 33 years old, and currently working at RSUD Depok as General
Practitioner. I was graduated from FK UKRIDA, even though it takes longer that it supposed
to be. There are a few obstacles on my journey to become a Doctor. But two of the biggest
problem that I had, was my Brother deceased and my Father treatment through Cancer.
Thanks GOD with the supports of my family and friends, I finished my education.
One of memorable moment as KOAS, when I’m at RS Mardi Rahayu Kudus
undergoing THT stage, there I found one of my favourite lesson. After graduate, I undertake
the INTERNSHIP program at BELITUNG TIMUR. There I had a lot of new experiences that
help me evolved as a human being and a Doctor.
After my Internship, I’m back to Jakarta, and worked as Medical Advisor at
ALODOKTER. I took that job so I could also company my Father to undergo his Cancer
treatment. 2 years gone by, thankfully my Father on remission. After that, I quit my job and
back as doctor actively. These days, I’m working daily as a GP at RSUD DEPOK. There , I
found back my Joy in helping people, especially when found THT diseases at Emergency
Room.
That’s why I make this statement of purpose for my registration as a ENT Specialist
Student at University of Padjadjaran, Bandung. With my humble application, I really hope
that you can consider me as a future ENT Specialist Student at UNPAD. Thank you from the
bottom of my heart.
