Effects of Time Management to the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) Students of San
Jose Academy with their Academic Performances
Reasons/Ideas

The research topic is all about how time allocation and management affect the academic

performances of the Accounting, Business and Management (ABM) students of San Jose Academy.

Moreover, this study can serve as a learning paradigm for the current and the incoming ABM

students of San Jose Academy, and to improve their approach to learning. In addition to that, it can

also help to enhance time allocation and management, and how they are going to assess new

methods on how they spend their time, activities, and other school-related workloads. Last, this

study aims to help students gain knowledge from various experiences as well as controlling their

time allocation.
Questions / Statement of the Problem

1. Why do students engage with their time participating in extracurricular activities?

2. Why does students' academic performance suffer as a result from time mismanagement

and time allocation issues?

3. Why do students struggle with time management?


Significance of the Study

This research aims to identify the effects of time management to the Accountancy, Business and

Management (ABM) students of San Jose Academy in their academic performances. It also aims

to benefit the following:

1. The ABM Students - This study will benefit ABM students in developing effective time

management strategies, and students who are having difficulty managing their time.

2. The SnJA Faculty - This study will benefit San Jose Academy Faculty in monitoring the

progress of its students in their overall well-being, and become adequately prepared for

meetings with proper allocation of the appropriate amount of time to a particular task.

3. The Researchers - The following will also benefit the researchers for this study will serve

as their basis to know more about the effects of time management to the ABM students of

San Jose Academy with their academic performances.

Scope and Limitations

This research is only limited to the impact of poor time management on a student's academic

performances as well as success. Moreover, this research will concentrate on the students of

the Senior High School Department: Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) Strand.
