KIS Sport week

KIS Sport week is an annual event held from May 9 to 15. The sports
tournament and competition involves all students of the school. The
main activities included in the event are basketball, soccer, volley-
ball and running. Participating in a school sport week event can
have several bene�its. It promotes physical �itness and encourages
an active lifestyle among students. It also provides an opportunity
for students to develop teamwork, leadership, and communication
skills. Students who are participating in the event can foster a sense
of school spirit and community, as students come together to sup-
port and cheer for their teams. Additionally, participating in a school
sport week event can enhance self-con�idence and self-esteem, as
students showcase their abilities and achievements in front of their
peers.

Activity Coordinators Report
Additionally, participating in sports can improve mental well-be-

ing, boost self-con�idence, and teach valuable life lessons such as
discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.This event has been a
great opportunity for the KIS students to improve their sports
skills, social responsibilities, sportsmanship behavior and so much
more. Every year the sports week is held in a tough situation. This
year the activity coordinators took over the whole event by coordi-
nating with the sport department. Every member of the activity
coordinator has shown amazing effort to make it successful. Each
class both girls and boys have enjoyed competing and experienced
different skills. Such an amazing event is highly recommended to
the school to expand and experience out of the school compounds
by having with other schools.

At KIS , every year has two family day events which involve all
communities of the school to share and communicate different
things. This event is a kind of platform for the community to sup-
port each other and share information as well as experiences .
The purpose of having a family day event at KIS is to promote
family involvement and engagement in the school community. It
provides an opportunity for families to come together, participate
in various activities, and strengthen their bond. Family day
events at KIS often include games, performances, workshops, and
other interactive activities that encourage family members to
spend quality time together and create lasting memories. This
year the event has been shown to positively impact student
achievement and behavior.

Family day events can also strengthen the bond between parents and
teachers, fostering open communication and collaboration. Addition-
ally, these events can create a sense of belonging and connectedness
among families, promoting a positive school culture and community
spirit. The event uses different fun and competition activities across
all ages including parents and staff. Running, football, table tenses,
minor games, coffee and tee, art and music activities are some of the
activities. This year the event was handled by the AC in coordination
with the whole team effectively.

3.10 School Closing Program
The School Closing Program was one of the biggest events at KIS .
KIS school closing program included speeches from school admin-
istrators, teachers, and students. It also included performances
such as musical and theatrical presentations by students. Addition-
ally, awards and recognition for academic achievements and special
contributions have been given out during the program. This year
the event has �lourished by students from kg3 to grade 8 graduating
students' performance.
