Hi James,
Last weekend I went to the Adventure Park. I went with my family. My sister
loves roller coasters so she went on the biggest one! I didn’t go on the roller
coaster because I was afraid! My favorite ride was the Ferris wheel. I went on it
with my mom. We went right to the top and we could see houses, trees, and
people down below. Everything looked very small!

Score: /5
We had lunch in the picnic area and then we went to the play area. The slide
was really big! We went on the swing too, but my sister fell off! She hurt her
arm so I bought her a teddy bear from the gift shop. It was an awesome day!
Love,
Daniel

Have you had your shots?

Score: /5
Everyone has to have shots sometimes. We don’t like them, but shots, or
vaccinations, are very important. When you have a shot, your body makes
antibodies. Antibodies fight illnesses and stop you from getting sick. We get most
shots when we are very young, before we are two years old.

Why should we get shots?

When everyone has their shots, they are protected from a lot of serious illnesses.
If we meet someone with an illness, for example, chicken pox, we probably won’t
become sick. If everyone has all their shots, no one gets sick! There are a lot of
illnesses that made people very sick in the past, but now they are very rare. This
is because everyone has had their vaccinations.
