    2023 PEER TUTOR APPLICATION FORM

    APPLICATIONS WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

    To be eligible for the “Peer Tutor - On-Campus Work-Study Program” students must:
     Complete this On-Campus Work Study Application Form and submit to the Learning Centre
     Have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
     Maintain a semester Grade Point Average (GPA) minimum of 2.0
     Pass the course with an A or B grade.
     Recommendation from the Instructor
     Be a Registered, Full-Time Cambrian College student (70% of full course load)
     Be a “Returning Student” in the fall to be eligible to work on-campus during the summer months.
     Fill out other associated paperwork in the Learning Centre

    What You Need to Know…

     A peer tutor cannot exceed the maximum of 20 hrs/week for tutoring. Additional hours will not be paid.
     Rate of pay is $18.18 per hour, non-negotiable.
     If in default or restriction with Financial Aid (OSAP), the student will not be eligible to work on campus.

    I have read and understand the above information regarding working on-campus as a student employee. Should any
    eligibility not be met, your application will not be approved, and employment denied.
