evaporation-crystallization treatment tank. The process includes a system combined with
the recycle unit from the crystallization unit to fresh feed. Only water is removed from the
evaporator. 63.63% of the feeding water into the evaporator is removed from the top
stream. The top stream of the crystallizer has completely solid sludge at a flow rate of 20
kg/s. The bottom stream of the crystallizer, which contains 80% water and balanced
sludge, is separated/splitted into the recycled and purge stream. The ratio of the recycled
flow to the purge flow is 4 mole recycled stream/mole purge stream. Assume that 100 kg/s
