Introduction

Established as Subhash Group Of Institutes back in 1965, the


prime vision of the society was to empower and literate
masses in rural areas through quality education by flexible
pedagogy methods. We are successfully running various
courses under the society imparting excellency in education
even today. In a current scenario, Uttar Pradesh being
currently recognized and accepted as one of the best places
for film shooting, which has largely given scope to many
upcoming film and media projects because of available
recourses and incredible locations. SCBFTI came as stirring
idea of shaping dreams of young generation as successful
filmmakers, editors also foster potential artists for world to
stare.

Designed for a new generation who wants pursuit of
storytelling though creative lenses. Everyone has a story, to
improvise a story in a way that not only inspire but impress
masses that is our primary objective. In an environment
where leading veterans of industry share their valuable input,
students surely going to perceive excellent information in the
respective field. SCBFTI identifies, cultivate and assists
storytelling talent at all levels of professional practice that
connects, fascinates and inspires.

Collaboration

SCBFTI is an undertaking in collaboration with FTII Pune,


(Maharashtra) exclusively designed for new generation who
have passion to become artists, storytellers or editor in
contemporary film making. Here we emphasis on core film
making techniques through comprehensive courses originally
created and designed by FTII Pune. Over the years ftii alumni
have left ingrained imprints across all aspects of cinema
television and associated industries.

practitioners, to produce industry-ready graduates. We offer
total internship and placement assistance through industry
certifications.
The formal course enables beginners to learn about
filmmaking in the context of film theories, understand global
practices, and master technical aspects.

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) was set up by
the Government of India in 1960, on the premises of the
erstwhile Prabhat Studios in Pune.
The FTII Campus currently stands on the grounds of the
erstwhile Prabhat Studio. Prabhat Studio was a pioneer in the
business of filmmaking and shifted to Pune from Kolhapur in
1933. The archaic studios of the time, which were the
production grounds for films of Prabhat are still present and
are being used by FTII. The old Studios of Prabhat are now
heritage structures and FTII students continue to work at the
world's oldest functioning film shooting studio.

Dr.Chandra Prakash Dwivedi

Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi is a filmmaker and scriptwriter,


best known for directing 1991 TV epic Chanakya in which he
himself played the title role of Chanakya. His other major
works include the 2022 film Samrat Prithviraj a historical
action drama and 2003 film Pinjar, a tragic love story based
on Amrita Pritam’s novel and the 1996 television
series Mrityunjay, based on the life of Karna, for which he
won Best Director award.
Dr Dwivedi is a qualified medical professional who gave up
his profession because of his deep interest in Indian history
and literature which he pursed dedicatedly. He wrote, directed
and acted in the TV serial Chanakya, which took India by
storm with its crafted dialogues, mastery of Hindi and lessons
on politics and philosophy. In the late 1990s, he held the
position of Programming Division Head at Zee TV.

Learning is a lifelong process & when instilled from various


sources exudes versatility and adequateness. Having been into
main education stream for all these years I always
contemplated on giving something to budding cinema
enthusiasts of the city and across so that not only they emerge
as an eminent faces of the country as filmmakers editors etc
but also manifest art & culture through splendid filmmaking
methods. SCBFTI is thoughtful effort to produce and
cultivate newcomers who are born artists and keen to carve
their way out of it. We are earnestly indulged into making
their dreams come true as various film artists through our
venture with FTII Pune.
Mukesh kumar

Mr. Mukesh Kumar is a film director. He has done his


Post graduate Diploma in Direction & Screenplay Writing
from one of the premiere Institute of India Satyajit Ray
Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata. His film
“Shwetrakht” (2017) won many awards in National &
International Film Festival. He worked as an Executive
Producer for Film “Saancha-The Mould” starring
Anupam Kher, Raghuvir Yadav and as an Editor for the
Film “Ada –A way of Life” an A.R. Rahman musical.

COST OF PROJECT:
The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1,41,74,520.20
(Rupees One crore Forty-One lakh Seventy-Four Thousand
Five Hundred and Twenty

EXPENDITURE INCURRED TILL DATE:


Till date, we have invested Rs 68,000,00/-(Rupees Sixty Eight
Lakhs) in so far infrastructure and construction of classrooms,
soundproof hall, soundproof conference hall recording &
editing room.
