Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I address a grave issue that threatens the heart of our democracy – the
dangerous nexus between crime and politics. This problem isn't limited to Uttar
Pradesh; it's a national concern.
In our state, politics has unfortunately become synonymous with immoral conduct,
and no political party remains untouched by criminal influence. The revelations of
the Vohra Committee report, withheld by the government for almost two years,
expose the extent of this issue.
This criminal-political alliance has now transcended borders, giving rise to cross-
border terrorism. Both Pakistan and the United States have manipulated the Indian
mafia for their sinister plans.
Uttar Pradesh is a prime example, where politicians with criminal backgrounds
forge alliances with crime syndicates, undermining our democracy. This web of
deceit dates back to the 1990s, weakening our democratic values, law and order,
and diverting resources from essential public services.
Case studies of individuals like Dhananjay Singh, Atiq Ahmed, Amarmani
Tripathi, Azam Khan, and DP Yadav highlight the challenges in maintaining
political integrity.
In conclusion, addressing this "Entangled Nature" of Crime and the Mafia in Uttar
Pradesh Politics is not optional; it's a necessity. We must demand accountability,
transparency, and strict law enforcement to ensure a prosperous and harmonious
Uttar Pradesh and protect our democracy. Thank you.
