TRAININIG PLAN
1. PURPOSE
The company is committed to ensuring that employees and contractors are trained in HSE programs, policies and
procedures which promote a positive safety culture in all facilities and operations in both field and office
environments. The company recognizes that Kingdom of Bahrain regulations and international standards require
personnel be fully trained in HSE practices, policies and procedures applicable to an individual’s location, job
title, work function and activities.
2. SCOPE
This procedure applies to all Ramsis employees and contractors working at company facilities and sites.
3. DEFINITIONS
NEW EMPLOYEE
A newly recruited employee who has successfully completed the departmental and human resources interviews,
selection tests (where applicable), medical test and is employed to fill a position within the company. Definition
also applies to an existing employee who changes positions.
EVALUATION
A regular assessment carried out by the HSE department in order to review the training program related to company
procedures and local and international requirements.
REFRESHER TRAINING
A training activity in which employees reinforce or update their knowledge and/or skill and learn about new
developments. Such refresher training shall be provided at the frequencies identified in attachment A or at other times
to meet identified needs and satisfy company procedures.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 HEAD OF INDUSTRIAL SAFETY & HEALTH
The head industrial safety & health is responsible to HSE manager for the overall administration of this procedure
and for advising/reporting on specific requirements and compliance obligations. He shall monitor

and communicate changes in regulatory requirements and policies to all personnel involved with related aspects
of this procedure.

6. PROCEDURE
HSE training shall be conducted in accordance with the matrix in attachment A. Personnel attending HSE training
courses may undergo evaluation for comprehension of the course material and be required to attain a pre-
determined score to demonstrate the necessary level of competence. In the event personnel do not achieve a score
deemed acceptable, they shall be required to repeat the course and assessment. All personnel attending training
and awareness courses shall complete an attendance sheet to verify attendance.
