B.O.N.E. (Boosting One’s Nutrition for Education)

Rationale:
Nutrition is the process of providing and obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. As a human, we need nutrition not just to help us living but also
help us in maintaining healthy body. Studies shows that nutrition plays a big part in the development of the cognitive skills of a person. Thus, it is encourage that
parents should provide nutritious food to their children in order for them to be healthy. The Department of Education have this feeding program that helps those
children who were wasted/severely wasted.
To help our learners to be more active and participative in their everyday living, we launch this school feeding program which entitled “Boosting One’s
Nutrition for Education” (BONE Program). This will be a great help in boosting the nutrition of our learners that can help their body.
How do this work? Our school will ask meat vendors for some bone parts of any meat which we will collect weekly and put it in a refrigerator to maintain its
freshness. Out of that meat bone, we will cook it as soup to provide to our learners during lunch time. We will ask parents to help us in preparing the soup.
