Basic knowledge

Subject forms in the singular : I, you, he/she/it. In the plural : we, you, they.

Object forms in the singular : me, you, him/her/it. In the plural : us, you, them.

I can't lift the table. Help me do it, please.

It (neuter pronoun) can be used to say or ask who is a person:

There's someone at the door. Who is it? It's Paul.

We use it in impersonal phrases:

It was late.

It's snowing.

It happened last night.
