Lesson 1 - Learning Assessment

Among the three components of NSTP, which do you think is the BEST to take by
the first year students in order to help the country in the present crisis.

As a first-year student, for me, the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) is the
best course of action for first-year students in order to help the country. Based on my
research, CWTS activities are contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of
life for the members of the community or the enhancement of its facilities, especially
those devoted to improving health, education, the environment, entrepreneurship, safety,
recreation, and the morals of the citizenry. As first-year students who are part of the
youth, it is important for the youth to participate in this kind of activity. We can help the
country's crisis by participating in community activities. We can help by simply
participating in health programs, like feeding programs for the malnourished children or
donating foods for the poor, to lessen the poverty crisis in the country, as well as
environmental programs like planting and community cleaning.

Moreover, CWTS practiced the social and leadership skills of the students; these
skills are very helpful to society. Socializing with one another can help our community
create a team—a team that can propose programs that can help our country's crisis.
CWTS also improves community programs, business, and the morals of the citizens. This
program teaches people to be attentive when participating in our community services.
