High-carbon ferrochromium is mainly used as alloying agent, which is

used in the production of ferroalloy.

Medium carbon ferrochromium is mainly used in the production of

bearing steel and steel for auto parts.

Low carbon ferrochrome is mainly used in stainless steel, corrosion

resistant steel.

Micro-carbon ferrochromium smelted by vacuum method is used to

produce ultra-low carbon stainless steel, high-chromium stainless
steel, heat-resistant steel and high-strength corrosion-resistant steel
required by the atomic energy industry, chemical industry and aviation
industry.
