BÀI VIẾT
Numerous individuals argue that educators should remove assigning homework
tasks to students. However, from my perspective, I firmly believe that homework
plays a crucial role in enhancing children's education.
On the one hand, homework is an extra burden put on their child's shoulders. Most
students spend a significant amount of time in the classroom, so they are exhausted
by the time they go home and lack the desire to do their homework. They will get
nothing from this conduct. Furthermore, kids may spend time honing soft skills
instead of doing schoolwork. Joining social organizations or charity initiatives can
provide youngsters with opportunities to broaden their social networks and benefit
their community.
On the other hand, I support with the notion that completing homework offers
distinct advantages for students. One of the most significant benefits is the
opportunity for students to review and reinforce the concepts covered in previous
school lessons. By independently working on their homework assignments,
students can establish a standardized approach for tackling various types of
activities that may be included in school exams. Additionally, I believe that
completing homework fosters the development of a consistent and disciplined
study routine. To elaborate further, engaging in homework exercises activates
students' cognitive abilities and enhances their long-term retention of the learned
material.
In conclusion, eliminating homework as a solution is not necessarily beneficial.
Rather than resorting to such extreme measures, I believe that teachers should
consider adopting a more balanced approach by reducing the quantity of
homework assigned to their students.
