OBJECTIVE The story must arise interest from fans of the Netflix show Arcane, with visual
descriptions pushing the story over dialogue, as this script acts as one part of a 2 pronged approach
to the story, we want to incorporate a musical album which consists of 7-12 songs which was the
genesis of the story.

Project Title: Love, Melody and Mayhem

Target Audience: Young adults and music enthusiasts, everyone who went through the
unprecedented times that was covid and lockdown. 9-99 years old, an artistic expression that has no
bounds .

Logline: Amid a government conspiracy that weaponizes low-vibrational music to induce illness, an
aspiring musician and his girlfriend, living together in lockdown, set out on a turbulent journey to
discover his musical identity in the mainstream world, unearthing a sinister truth that not only
strains their relationship but also threatens their passion for the art and their very lives.

Overview:

Love, Melody and Mayhem is a compelling animated drama that explores the struggles and sacrifices
of musical career pursuit while navigating the complexities of a romantic relationship. Set against the
backdrop of the vibrant Manchester music scene dealing with Lockdown, this story delves into
themes of identity, ambition, conspiracy and the power of love.
Act 1: Setting the Stage

Introduction: We meet our protagonist, Tobi Sunmola, an aspiring musician with a unique style,
living harmoniously with his girlfriend, Jolene, who shares his passion for music. They have a
supportive relationship and live a modest life in Jolene’s house where Tobi has built a musical
laboratory, the first of its kind.

Inciting Incident: Tobi gets a shock when media outlets are reporting a medical breakout. Whats
fascinating is that through his research he can disapprove what is being reported. however,
government officials enforce a sudden lockdown, restricting movement.

Conflict: Tobi must decide between telling government officials or confirming his suspicions by
testing his experiments on those affected by the medical outbreak. This decision creates tension in
his relationship with Lily, who sees chaos down that path.

Act 2: Finding the Beat

Rising Action: Tobi begins his journey to creating ‘the cure’ by finding and recruiting ‘test subjects’,
working with his neighbour.

Complications: Tobi’s journey recruiting more people as they realize they need an army of friends
strains his relationship with Lily, as she feels increasingly alienated from his new lifestyle and
mentality. Tobi also grapples with his own identity crisis, feeling like he's a bit of an imposter.

Midpoint: Tobi's experiments have initial success, but he realizes that the cure is temporary, and
people still need to avoid the infection.

Act 3: Crescendo

Crisis: A whistleblower informs the government of Tobi’s trials and soon after Tobi and Lily’s house
gets raided. Lily reaches a breaking point in their relationship, as she loses her house, feeling
neglected and hurt by Tobi's choices. Tobi, on the verge of losing everything he values, faces a moral
dilemma.

Climax: Tobi decides to take a bold step, risking it all to return to his authentic music. He apologizes
to Lily, acknowledging his mistakes, and they embark on a journey of rediscovery.
Resolution: The story concludes with Tobi and Lily finding a harmonious balance between their love
for each other and their love for the art. Tobi's music, now infused with the test subjects, cures a
majority of the world and his relationship emerges stronger, with a newfound understanding and
