About you:

• 2+ years leading quality efforts for high-traffic applications


• Proficient in automation coding and scripting, dedicated to optimizing testing processes without
reliance on manual methods
• Extensive experience testing across the full-stack, including backend APIs and databases.
• Hands-on experience in devising comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases. Ideally you
have experience using functional, non-functional, stress, and load testing within a rapidly
iterative development environment. Extensive experience in API endpoint testing at scale.
• Familiar with full systems development lifecycle
• Experiences with CI/CD solutions (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI, GitLab, GitHub Actions etc.)
• Skilled in navigating ambiguous situations, resolving technical challenges, and devising
effective solutions to meet project milestones.
• Prior involvement with a scalable fintech or ecommerce product, with a preference for API-
based platforms.
• Eager for the challenge of driving rapid growth and contributing to the creation of a new unicorn
in the industry.
• Flourishes in a startup environment, taking initiative and ownership while making critical
decisions under pressure, consistently delivering exceptional results.

Nice to have:
• Background in fintech software and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with tech stacks like JS/TS React, Golang, PostgreSQL, GCP infrastructure, Docker,
and Terraform is advantageous, but your attitude is paramount. You can learn as you go
• Proven expertise in software quality assurance, especially in leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Typescript with practical experience in BDD/TDD.
• In-depth comprehension of mobile app development and the mobile app industry is highly
valued.

What are your deliverables?


• Implement automated tests for our React Native mobile application.
• Take ownership of end-to-end mobile test automation and execution.
• Ensure quality standards through assessment of functionality, usability, scalability, and security.
• Strategically plan, execute, and uphold comprehensive QA activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team throughout the release process, conducting
thorough testing of components and ensuring end-to-end product coverage.
• Report and track data quality, aiding developers during and after deployments.
• Validate communications between the client and backend services.
• Lead defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring thorough documentation, prioritization,
and timely resolution of identified issues.

• Stay updated on QA trends and technologies, applying best practices.
• Share QA metrics and reports with product and engineering teams for improvements.
• Strive for top-notch consumer-grade product quality.

Salary:
Compensation package includes:
• Up to GBP 55,000 - 60,000 yearly depending on experience
• Type of contract is negotiable
