You can see that this world is a dystopia because there is an unfair society, a chaotic world, the power
is just for a lucky few, etc.

3) What are the three more terrifying aspects of the world on this novel? Why?

Excessive control and restriction of thought and action, being told that you are constantly
being watched, your freedo is uncertain and is constantly violated, etc.

4) What are the most disturbing features of this dystopia?

The "big brother", and the ministries.

5) Provide 5 similariCes between our world and the world from the novel

The digitalization of the world, big brother could be a representation of opressing world leaders,
the deliberate control over wich information we get and consume, manipulative propaganda and
violation of privacy

Hate week

Is a time in wich everyone directs its hatred towards Emmanuel Goldstein in front of a television

secret organization arresting people who have any way of alternative thinking

7) What view of human nature is embedded in the police of the Party?

The view that the police of the party have of human nature is almost completely inhumane
they think they think they do not deserve decent treatment and that they are anti-freedom
thats why they are so violent towards them

8) How is wriCng an act of rebellion?

in the case of the novel, writing becomes a way of alternative thinking and a liberative action
It allows expression and a different way of thinking something very important since it´s

forbidden to even think differently
