2 Ways To calculate:

Tradingview
Metatrader 4/5

Tradingview: This option is perfect if you


trade using one of the brokers provided by TV
themselfs. You can do your technical analysis
and litteraly enter in seconds (not kidding).

Metatrader4/5: This is the better option for


when your broker doesnt work on TV,
however it's a little more complicated and you
should still get familiar with the first option.

For Tradingview:
Find these tools
on TradingView
Left side of TV

Step 1: Place tool at entry price

And drag the SL(red) and TP(green)


part until fit

PS: Edit Settings
(1 time needed)

Right click drawing and choose


settings, from here on set "Account
size" and "Risk" to what you are using.

Step 2: Right click the drawing and
click "Create limit order..."

Make sure $ Risk is correct and click Buy


button below to enter limit, if you entering
on current price and not a retracement, use
"Market" at the top

For Metatrader 4/5:
In the middle of de
drawing look at Qty:
This tells you how much
UNITS to buy/sell. You can
use this number on the
normal "New Order"
button

Drag the SL, Enty, TP
lines to the correct
prices

Make sure Risk, % is


whatever you want it to
be

Execute the trade:

Head over to
the "Trading" tab
and press "Trade" -> "OK"

Now go back to "Main"


and hide the lines to
see your limit order

Bonus Tip:
Double click the empty space left of the profit to
partially close a trade

Change the volume(lot size) to how much you want


to close of your trade and press "close"

How to convert units
into lots:
Forex:
100.000 units = 1 lot
10.000 units = 0.1 lot
1.000 units = 0.01 lot

Metals:
Silver: 5.000 units = 1 lot
Gold: 100 units = 1 lot
Platinum: 100 units = 1 lot

Indices:
1000 units = 100 lots
100 units = 10 lots
10 units is 1 lot
1 unit = 0.1 lot

Don't ask me about micro lots etc.
