THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
When fresh graduates step into the industry, they are often faced with real-life

flexibility and learning curve, as you have more opportunities to have a say in the
business decisions. It also provides a lot of growth potential from both the individual
and organizational spectrum, which could prove to have valuable lessons for your

experience thus far at Zannati Motors Limited. It is meant to reflect on the lessons and

several areas of my internship (e.g. routine tasks, difficulties faced, the departments,

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Zannati has a workplace that could be best described as a mix of casual and formal. In
short, it is a friendly workplace with professionals who are ready to guide interns and
newcomers into the corporate life with valuable experience. Interns at Zannati are
mostly given tasks which are relevant to their field. I joined as a coordinator in the
project which was to summarize the responses of their existing customers. Despite
their company having a good amount of accomplishments, their present services and
to design a whole promotional campaign to run promotion for their Eid offers. My
main project was to design the whole promotional event in a delicate way that could
bring their Eid promotional campaign successful. I was also engaged in other
miscellaneous tasks, like using Canva to create email templates, case studies etc.
Additionally, I also helped out my fellow colleagues with word, excel, and other
forms of documents. I was also sorting out taxation files of their company.

after joining Zannati, the reality turned out to be quite different from what I thought it

interns essentially had to run errands for other people at work and weren't given any
significant work which would provide us with proper learning experience. Another
notion I had was that interns are viewed as insignificant by the full-time employees in

BUS 498.66
Day 1:
Activities: I started off the week by making a draft of some emails about an award
received as the best 50th dealer of Uttara Motors Awards 2022 for meeting up the
sales target that was requested by my senior colleague. Then I proceeded to prepare
another email draft. I continued the day with miscellaneous tasks, as well as helping a
fellow intern with Adobe After Effects.
Day 2:
Activities: For my 2nd day of the week, I made appropriate revisions to the email
draft that my senior colleague requested earlier. Later in the day, I had discussion with
mu senior colleague of the sales and marketing department of Zannati Motors. The
discussion was about how to increase the sales force and manage the customers
during rush hour.
Day 3:
Activities: I started off by sending some details of a pre-proposal meeting from a
proposal data sheet to my senior colleague’s WhatsApp at his request. Then I got a
pretty large task where I had instructed to put some data onto the software based on a
datasheet file, I managed to finish 8 out of 23 certificates in the day.
Day 4:
Activities: I managed to finish off 23 out of 23 project completion certificates based
on available documents, but some details were still left blank due to lack of
information in some fields. I also handled few customers who came to visit the outlet.
21 | P a g e
Day 5:
Activities: The last day of the week was extremely hectic in terms of handling
customers. Multiple customers visited and we were able sell 3 motor bikes in that day.
Learning and achievements of the week: My 2nd week at Zannati Motors Limited
provided me with even a better learning curve than the first as I was tasked with more
responsibilities. I also got to know the team and my colleague’s better, which will
only improve in the weeks ahead. The company culture as described is friendly

Day 1:
Activities: I was instructed to make some surveys to get some feedback from their
customers. I created survey oriented questions by using the spss software tools. After
completing all the open ended and close ended questions, my supervisor told me to
handle some customers during rush hour. I was successful to handle everyone.
Day 2:
Activities: Started off with resuming my work from where I left off. I started sending
the surveys to the customers. My supervisor requested me to do some pay order in the
bank to let me know how to do a pay order for Zannati. I went to the bank, learned
and did the pay order.
Day 3:
Activities: Took the day off and went to the university campus where I met my
present BUS 498 faculty and another faculty from last semester who took BUS 251
for me.
Day 4:
Activities: I started the day by checking the responses of the surveys, I noticed that
there were approximately 351 responses occurred, then my supervisor told me to wait
for at least 500 responses to make any sort of hypothesis.
Day 5:
23 | P a g e
Activities: As usual, I was instructed to check the responses and make summary of it.
I found out that there were more than 500 responses. As the last day of the week,
There was huge rush on the showroom, so I helped my senior to handle the rush.
Learning and achievements of the week: Not many learning lessons to take notes as
most of the work done this week was pretty much the same as that of the last week.
Aside from creating the survey questions, nothing new or different was done in the
week. But I got to know about the leave policies of the company since I took a leave
on Tuesday, including how many days of leave are allotted per year for each
employee and how to formally apply for the leave.

Day 1:
Activities: I started the first day of this week by opening up the tasks I left off last
week. I was instructed to paraphrase the responses from the customer’s point of view
to improve Zannati’s service. The supervisor told me that I needed to make a file of
2500 words summary of the survey within this week so that he could submit this
report to the MD of Zannati Motors. I was able to write 500 words of summary on
that day.
Day 2:
Activities: I came early that day as one of my fellow interns were absent. Firstly, I
wrote about another 500 words of summary in that report. Then my supervisor
instructed me to handle few customers who were interested to buy motor bikes. I tried
to convince them but it was tough to persuade them.
Day 3:
Activities: As usual, I started by working on the summary for the report and ended up
reaching over 1500 words in the day. Then I checked some VAT files if it was alright
or not. Meanwhile, there was huge rush occurred in the showroom, so I joined with
my fellow colleague to handle it, and we were able to sell 3 motor bikes on that day.
Day 4:
Activities: I was in a huge rush of completing my report on this day because I still left
of completing 1000 words or more for the report. I was able to write approximately
800 words. I also needed to visit the service center to check if the technicians were
25 | P a g e
working properly or not. Also got to interacted with few customers and sold some
motor parts including cylinder block, ring piston etc.
Day 5:
Activities: I came early as I had to submit the service summary report to the
supervisor. I completed the report, edited it and finally submitted it to my supervisor.
He congratulated me to handle the report on time. The rush was more, as Ramadan
started and also the last day of the week. We somehow managed to sell 4 bikes on that
day.
Learning and achievements of the week: This week was extremely hectic. This
week had a lot of work load and felt like an actual workplace instead of a regular
internship. Could be described as the first time that I felt pressure during the summary
creation of responses within 5 days. So pressure handling in the workplace is another
element that I am learning and adapting to.
Observations: The supervisor specially the seniors were really happy about my work.
I got some Cadbury chocolate for completing the report on time.

Day 3:
Activities: I started the day by looking at some vat documents as my supervisors
notified me that some vat officials are coming on to check the papers. I sorted out
everything. Then the vat officials came and checked all the papers and they seemed
satisfied and left. I was highly appreciated by the MD of Zannati Motors to overcome
this intricate task.
Day 4:

the leaflets to all over the city. Then I went to one of my fellow interns to help him

Day 5:
Activities: I was called for a meeting with my supervisor. There he discussed the
physical promotional campaign where we will be doing our promotional campaign in
5 different places of the district including 3 top educational institutes and 2 luxurious

Learning and achievements of the week: This week was extremely hectic and task
full. But I learnt a lot, I learnt about how a promotional campaign is actually done and
how to design it successfully. I also handled a few pressure situations this week which
was phenomenal.
Observations: I had a lot of pressure this week but I overcame it successfully only
getting assistance from my supervisor and my fellow team. They were really helpful
and appreciative peeps.
