DESIGN SUMMARY

The aim of this project is to work with the design team and
production team of Merasal to understand their designs and
silhouettes to create a collection with the brand. The collection is
an Indo western women’s wear collection, for the season Spring
Summer 2023, by taking inspiration from the Indian traditional
apparel, by using traditional bagru printed flowy fabrics like poly-
cotton, lurex for the collection. The silhouettes used in this
collection are flowy and flared. It is traditional yet trendy
collection, that play around with pleats, cowls, panels and gathers.
The collection use intricate aari and kardhana embroideries to add
great value to the collection.
