    The High Court of Madhya Pradesh issued a notice to streamline the procedure for case mentions. It directed that 1) mention memos must be submitted physically, 2) all memos must be dropped in a box between 10:15-11:15 AM, and 3) memos with an auto-generated future date will be treated as court-given dates, unless 4) the memo specifically requests moving up the computer-generated date. The court will not accept memos for cases that already have fixed dates. This order takes effect from January 10, 2022.

    HIGH COURT OF MADHYA PRADESH

    NOTICE

    No. 87/PR(J)/2022 Jabalpur dated 08/01/2022

    As directed, with a view to streamline the procedure of mentioning,


    following directions are issued :-
    1. Mention Memos will be entertained in Physical form only.
    2. All the Mention Memos will be dropped between 10:15AM to 11:15AM in
    the Drop Box placed near the Presentation Center at Principal Seat Jabalpur
    and Benches at Indore & Gwalior.
    3. Mention Memos, in which the next tentative date is generated by an auto
    generated computer program, as authenticated by the Registrar (Judicial),
    will be treated as Court given date.
    4. Only those Mention Memo will be placed before Hon’ble DB-I for
    consideration, in which it is specifically mentioned at Column No.4 that “I
    want preponement of the computer generated date”.
    5. Cases, in which fixed date has been given by the Hon’ble Court, no mention
    memo shall be entertained.

    This order will come in force with effect from 10/01/2022 till further
    order.
