    EEG PROCEDURE

    1. Klik EEG button on the top


    2. Klik new patient
    3. Entering the patient information : ID,3 name of the patient, age , department ,doctor name
    4. Let the patient lay down
    5. Cover the patient
    6. Put the bed rails
    7. Put electrode
    8. Turn on the small light
    9. Turn off the room light
    10. Klik adult examination (on monitor)
    11. Klik OK
    12. Change pattern to be transverse , NB for dr majid patient change to bipolar
    13. Press impedence until picture appears then klik OK
    14. Klik
    15. Klik start (green button on the top right side)
    16. Wait until 5 minutes
    17. Ask the patient open the eyes
    18. Klik start for provocation
    19. Wait until 30 Hz
    20. Ask the patient close eyes
    21. Ask the patient deep breathing
    22. Klik “sel”button klik start
    23. Wait until 1 minutes (appears on the monitor)
    24. Klik stop
    25. Wait until procedure done till 20 minutes
    26. Klik “green button” to stop procedure
    27. Klik close button
    28. Klik ok
    29. Klik DATA MANAGER
    30. Enter the patient ID to search the result .

    NB : If the patient is from outside don’t forget to always ask what is the problem of the
    patient
    PEDIATRIC PATIENT
    1. Appoipment is always on 07.30 pm as much as the patient can , ask the patient to open
    consultation to pediatric doctor at 06.30 pm to take a chloral hydrate (oral)
    2. Give to the patient together with jus or milk
    3. Wait until they sleep
    4. Put electrode
    5. Observation every 5 minutes ( spo2,pulse,RR)
    6. Done
    NERVE CONDUCTION STUDY

    NERVES :
    1. Median
    2. Ulnar
    3. Peroneal
    4. Tibial
    5. Radial
    6. Facial
    7. Repetitive stimulation
    8. EMG

    PREPARING :

    1. Enter the patient information KLIK NCS


    2. Prepare tape
    3. Prepare consent
    4. Tell the patient that the procedure will give them electricity and pain
    5. Ask the patient to sign the consent
    6. Put the electrode
    7. Klik stimulation
    8. Increase the intensity
    9. For all nerves see the amplitude to reach until 4mv up then stop or until the amplitude is not
    changes again.
    10. Klik FM-LATENCY setting the intencity same with frist on motorik
    11. Klik stimulation then count till 10
    12. Measure it
    13. Back to the motorik put the size
    14. Do in the arm for hand and popliteal for the leg
    15. For sensory klik SCS choose the nerve and then choos the side right or left klik ok
    16. Put ring ,spray with alcohol
    17. Stimulation rich untul the amplitude is 16uv above then stop
    18. Measure it

    NB : If the patient from outside ask the what the patient problem and are the patients diabetic or no
